I was really wondering if I should wait for this thing before I bought my JT... Very, very pleased with the JT sitting in my garage after that reveal. The specs are great but wow is it hideous! Plus it's $70k for the trim that has all the cool features he's talking up.

I still want a Tesla, but not that Tesla.

Not to mention the quality issues. People think Jeeps are bad. Our model 3 had some of the worst fit/finish, paint, and trim alignment I’ve ever experienced. And don’t get me started on their service centers.

With that being said, I was ready to order, but not this mutated hideous cyberjoke. Joe Rogan got Musk on DMT.

Ignoring the looks, I would eat my hat if they bring a 39K version of it to the market anytime soon.

It'll probably be like the Model 3, where people overwhelmingly ordered the base model, but Tesla was only producing the more expensive versions.

I applaud you for being an early adopter. I honestly like the cyber truck. It's like an alien truck, super weird but also cool. Definitely a head turner whether good or bad. I like being unique and different one of the reasons why I got a JT. I have quite of few people telling me my truck is really weird and awkward looking but I'm not bothered because I personally love my JT. I see myself driving something like a cyber truck but going to wait until there's more competition to drive the prices down and more advancement in the self driving technology.

I thought it was a joke when it rolled out but it grew on me quickly. I really like the way it looks. When he said "Bladerunner" he wasn't joking. That or the APC from Aliens. Both designed by the same guy if I remember correctly.

If they had 5 minute charging I'd be very interested but I don't like the idea of a limited range before an extended charging time.
