I'm diggin' the narrower tire. Looks good!I was wanting to stay with a skinnier tire as well. I ended up with 35x11.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock rims and 2” lift.
The JL is on 37x12.5 Patagonias on Method wheels.
Not the size you requested but a good comparison and inside the fenders.
Are you running wheel spacers? If not, any rubbing? They look good. And they measure right at 34 inches high mounted on stock rims. As you can see the Weathertech mud flaps don't do a lot as far as keeping the vehicle clean.
No spacers or lift. They don't rub at all and I've had the pickup in some full flex, sway bar disconnected off road situations. Are you running wheel spacers? If not, any rubbing? They look good.
TIA
Kevin
34.5" mounted on rim with no weight. Level on top and measured to ground. Can you grab an actual diameter measurement of the tire mounted on the spare?
This is very encouraging. I believe I will use the Kenda 35x10.50 as my spare!34.5" mounted on rim with no weight. Level on top and measured to ground.

It will work well I think. My other wrangler I was able to use a Q78 super swamper TSL. It's basically a 36"x9.5" tire but only on a 16" rim. To me it was the perfect spare! I LOVE the pizza cutter spares. much less weight and less in the way. Wish someone made something similar for the 17" rim...this Kenda was one of few 35x10.5s I could find. This is very encouraging. I believe I will use the Kenda 35x10.50 as my spare!
Just for perspective - the guy holding the tire has a 36” inseam. Those are TALL tires!34.5" mounted on rim with no weight. Level on top and measured to ground.

Yes, I'm quoting myself.I'm diggin' the narrower tire. Looks good!
Would love to see the 37x11.5x18 NTGs mounted up.
They completely missed the boat by building those on a 20" wheel not a 17" wheel.Yes, I'm quoting myself.
For those interested, this is the closest I've found so far: 37x11.5x20 Trail Grapplers. I like the width, but I'd want a smaller wheel so the 37x11.5x18 should be sweet.
I mean Nitto missed the boat.By "they" do you mean Nitto or the dealer I pulled the photos from? Because Nitto doesn't make the 11.5" wide tires in 17" size, only 18" and 20".
I wish they'd make a 37x11.5x17 though as I'd love to run them on the stock Rubicon wheel. I don't know why they don't offer that size because they obviously make them in 37x12.5x17 and 37x13.5x17 and there are so many more 17" wheel options.
Edit: I just went to their website to inquire why they don't offer that width in a 17" wheel; they have a "Request a Tire Size" form that can be filled out. I'd encourage everyone who is interested to fill out the form and submit it to encourage them to make it! I just picked a 2019 Wrangler when selecting my "car" since they didn't have the 2020 MY available (so no Gladiator option).
I picked the Ridge Grappler tire pattern.
