Starting out the new year in comfort! Today swapped out the 35” BFG MTs on the Stock Sport Wheels for some 33” ATs on Rubicon Wheels with full-size spare, added a OEM Tonneau, and boommat headliner/hardtop thermal acoustic barrier!

Finished up my ham (2M/70CM, GMRS, CB radio install with the NMO antenna mount. By choosing a common mount like NMO, I can switch out antennas and move the cable over to the radio I'll need for a particular trip. Despite how cool she looked Topless with the new Tanneau, it’s January, cold as shit and couldn’t wait to see how the boommat performed! Took a little trimming and they cut out the rear defrost housing on the wrong side but what a difference!

Had some Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/75R18 installed. They are actually 35's but measure about 33.5 when the weight is on the truck. Now time for a lift of some sort. I'm thinking of a 2.5 inch leveling kit, because I don't want it too high. I like the way it drives. I love these tires because they fit on stock wheels and they are tall but only 11.5 wide and they fit inside the fenders. No roller skate look.

Also used a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply for a bed mat.

That bed mat looks nice! How hard was it to cut to fit??

Thanks. I had some help from Discount Tire. I wanted 35's but not new wheels (still paying on wheels for the Jeep I traded in).

I got lucky because they fit perfectly.

My favorite is this custom decal I had done with Pixeldecals.com. This is a distressed military invasion with a Gladiator helmet. I wanted something on the rear bedside. Done with matte black to match the hood Rubicon decal. I also ordered one in dark charcoal because I wasn't sure if I wanted it less subtle. But decided to put that on the rear window.
