Pulled the trigger on the 12k from amazon today, figured it was with the extra $30 over the 10k from eBay...

It must vary by location, my local four wheel parts would not match Ebay on some wheels 224.99 They would match Quadtratec at 227.50 four wheel parts price 253.00
I bought them from quadratec they’re always easy to deal with.
Yea I kinda got that feeling when i was there. Like it depended on how they felt that day. I had to wait for an hour for someone to "ok" it but thats fine with me for that price.

Got mine put in with the rugged ridge arcus bumper. People were stating that you couldn't mount the box in the middle with this bumper but seems fine to me.

I am going to use the same bumper, looks like the control box is rubbing on the grill in your picture.

Yea its definitely rubbing. I wasn't to sure if this was an issue though. Aesthetically I don't mind.

That's why I stated the box couldn't be center mounted with the Arcus bumper. If you don't mind rubbing on your grill it will mount and install. If you don't want to chew up your grill, side mount the control box with the Arcus bumper.

Your totally right, it definitely rubs on the grill. I would guesstimate by about an 1/8 of an inch.

So you know you can remote mount that controller right?

Some longer cables and mount it behind the grille or under the hood. Or take it back off one time and remove the lower clips on the grille that retain it.

Yea I totally understand all that. Mine is all about looks. I only like it middle mounted concerning looks, and if I had to go another route I would just buy a different bumper to middle mount it. Im not to concerned about barely any of it touching the grill, which I doubt will cause ay damage, and if it does, if I decide to go another route down the road, Ill repaint it or just buy another one.

My rock hard 4x4 winch mount plate tilts the winch forward 11 degrees which helped it not rub on my grille. The cables behind the control box are touching the grille but I don’t consider that a big deal. I could have moved the cables to the side but it’s mounted at this point so it is what it is.
