So 35x12.5xr17 Spare doesn't fit underneath?

So I just got back from the tire place and they told me that my 35x12.5xR17s would not fit in the spare tire mount under the bed.

Were they being lazy or has anyone else ran into this on a Max tow Sport S? I was going to get under there later and see what they are talking about but didn't have time right now.

Ummm uhhhhh yah, need to call B.S. on your tire shop. My Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x11.50x18 fit.

My 35x12.5x17 fit just fine. All 35's will fit just fine with room to spare (Ha).

On a side note - I really like the Method Roost wheels I got. I didn't think I would like the little bit of chrome in the middle but I do.

I mean Jeep only designed it from the start to hold a 35” tire, so yeah, they literally couldn’t have tried. My installed put mine in the stock spot with issues at all.

My shitty dealership said my 34x11.5 matching spare would not fit, just pure laziness on their end.

I’m at the dealership now, getting a fifth full size wheel mounted and balanced to use in a five-wheel rotation and they said the same thing.

I just told them to put it in the bed and I would mount it in the spare spot myself.
