I'm not reading through 29 pages and over 400 posts of peoples' opinions especially when I see some jackwagon blaming the President.

Want to affix blame? It starts and ends with China - they created this virus and shipped it around the world (whether or not you think they did anything intentionally - like allowing/encouraging sick people to fly to other countries when they wouldn't let those people travel inside China).

And if you dare believe their impossible numbers/statistics you're a complete fool
#ChinaLiedPeopleDied

Either way this shit is here and we need to take it seriously and deal with it. Our leadership did not take it seriously in the beginning when they should have, bottom line.

guarantee Bush or Obama would have done a better job.

Just wondering, how do you "guarantee" that would have happened with either of them?
Knowing the character for both Bush and Obama, they wouldn’t have told hospitals to find their PPE on the free market. Then two weeks later publically shame 3M for selling PPE to other countries, and mandating they couldn’t sell outside of the US. Bush and Obama also wouldn’t have told hospitals in NYC that they didn’t need the amount of ventilators they were asking for, then 1.5 weeks later publicly shame General Motors that they were late to the game and needed to hurry up and make ventilators. I voted for the guy and I’m absolutely embarrassed that I did.

lastly, the whole stunt about the CDC recommending everyone to wear face masks... and him saying that he wasn’t going to do it. What happened to leading by example? I’m sure he will be wearing one by May. Actually if he isn’t..... I actually wouldn’t be that surprised...

and BTW, is that all you could contribute to the conversation is get hung up on the phrasing of guarantee? Its a figure of speech.

Cool your jets, I am not picking a fight here. Your first reply which I liked, makes good points.

I just quoted your statement because I wanted to see how one quantifies or basically proves what for all intents is just a opinion since we cannot wind back time and put either Bush or Obama in the same situation and "guarantee" a different outcome. Either one was also a fucktard of incompetence by certain camps back in their day also.

Like I mentioned, your first reply was well put and a good case was made on your viewpoint and i respect that.

True, they both were in some aspects, but not to the level I am currently seeing by Trump. I will admit I’m a little sensitive to the situation considering what I see and deal with at work every day. Things could have been a lot better if we all would have taken this seriously earlier on.

While I agree that the response would have probably been more adequate under previous administrations, the problem was caused by the Nixon administration in 1974 when they started implementing certificate of need requirements for healthcare facilities. Now the nation is not equipped to handle large scale problems like the one we currently face, which requires the government to step in and tell everyone to stay home so hospitals don’t get overwhelmed.

changed your mind yet? 630 dead yesterday in NY. Still fake?
Never said it was fake... I said it was being grossly overhyped by everyone.

sorry disagree with you on the CON’s. CON’s are in place so that little pop-up facility’s abs imaging centers don’t come in and take away all easy money making cases and studies. They would get the imaging done, then the patient would go to the hospital and the Hosptial wouldn’t be able to bill for anything. CON’s are to protect hospitals running to the point where they can be profitable. Otherwise you have have MRI and CTs done at gas stations with equipment that was end of life.

Do all 8 of you that liked this post still like this post...? This post was only 3 weeks ago, just wait to see what things are like in 4 weeks. But hey, I guess maybe you were trusting our dumb as president. And this isn’t about republican or dem, I voted for him. He was an ignorant dumbass when it came to this. His influence undoubtedly made things worse than they should have been.
I trust no man that I don't know personally. And I still stand behind my opinion. Like it or not, it's being overblown. Are people getting sick? Sure. Are people dying from it? Sure. But is it any worse than any other epidemic that is "infecting" our country, viral or not? Not in my opinion. More people die from opioids everyday than what this virus has killed in months. If YOUR bosses would stop prescribing those to addicts, then would that epidemic stop?

Don't you dare lecture me on being morally superior. That's for God (or whatever you believe in) to determine in the end.
