After a long wait (end of December order) finally got the Ace Rock Sliders installed.
Fortunately no issues with broken body mount bolts as others have experienced.
Overall pretty happy as they suit my needs for a daily driver / pavement prince.
Combination of price, appearance, functionality as a step, and ease of install were my primary considerations.
Also happy with how they integrated with the Weathertech splash guards.

How do you feel this work as a step? I really like the idea of not taking my rails off and this is the daily driver for my wife and my kids need a little step to get up in the Jeep. I hate to pull the trigger if it doesn't really work as a step that well.

They work fine as a step for my wife and I. Don’t have kids but took my friends kids out for a ride (youngest is 4) and they didn’t seem to have a problem.

I recieved the Shrockworks today. They are beefy and remind me a lot of my TnT sliders w/adventure step I had on my jku. Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't weigh them but each side felt at least 80 lbs.

I like these better than the rubirails and Ace sliders on my JKU

The Shrockworks rails look like a quality product, although the one thing I'm not crazy about is that the pinch seam is left exposed more than I would want. Just a "looks" preference is all.

On a separate note, that's quite a trick with the paint color in the photos, piroman683! Did you order the Granite Crystal/Sting Grey color-changing paint option or what ;)?

haha, shitty phone gives unique colors in cloudy light. Ordered it in Granite Crystal, and had them add the red lined Jeep badges from Rubicon. Proud owner of #notarubicon haha
