12% off MSRP post-incentive is not a very good price for a Sport S. Myself and other have been able to get these around 18% off post-incentive, so with your MSRP, that should be a post-incentive price of $35,500.
Could you tell me what rebates you qualified for? I'm sure things have changed and most of them probably aren't around at this point. I'm thinking I might have to wait till the end of the year. Ford is releasing the new Bronco early July to compete with Jeep so maybe that will force their hand on some incentives.

Their are now MORE incentives offered on Gladiator Sport as when I bought in March. Here is the current list:

$2000 - Employee Purchase Retail Bonus Cash 39CLJ
$1000 - VIN Specific Select Inventory Bonus Cash 43CK1E
$500 - 2020 FIRST RESPONDER BONUS CONSUMER CASH 47CLA9
$500 - 2020 MY Military Program 39CLB
$500 - NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS MEMBER PROGRAM (2020) 38CLY1
$500 - PenFed Credit Union Bonus Cash
$500 to $1500 - Jeep Select Private Offer.

I qualified for $3000 in rebates between bonus cash, penfed and select offer. The problem is you can't find a unit with a $39K MSRP anymore, all the inventory is gone.

Most people aren't soldiers who are also first responders realtors retired FCA employees s etc. I got those prices with $1k southwest rebate and employee pricing plus the dealer nocked some off for a total of around 7k. Still after reading all these issues especially with the strating I think it's ridulous even to pay 38k before tax . I think I'll wait until they have an official fix announced for the steering and maybe some other issues . Maybe I'm crazy to think a 2020 would have this many issues. And no it's not just a "Jeep" thing like tigers pointed out. I'll invest my money and maybe even wait for 2021.

Curious what starting issue you're referring to? FWIW, I think the steering issue that you see a lot of on here is a bad alignment and improper tire pressures. Nothing more. Mine with a properly done alignment where the tech knows how to align a straight axle front, is just fine. Stock with 44psi tires off the lot it was crap.

I also had to go back to the dealer to get my steering wheel alignment fixed. It was off centered causing some of the steering issues. It’s been fixed now.

Dumb question - but is there somewhere on the Jeep site that provides a better overview of the applicability of some of those additional offers?

I"m just trying to get this one down as much as possible, dealer isn't coming off $42k OTD (we have roughly $1400 in taxes, etc.)

https://www.neuwirthmotors.net/new/...lmington-3815ae8f0a0e0a6b4da79abd72cc819a.htm

The issue is my Dad wants that active safety group and at that price point there's not a ton nearby.

Any thoughts?

Engine missfiring too. Cheap fender liners falling off. Super loud AC . The threads where people list their issues and FCA's and the dealerships unwillingness to help scared me.off for now

It's very hard to analyze OTD prices. We would need to the know the pre-incentive discount and the incentives the dealer is applying.

The best place to find incentives is on TrueCar. If you can find your actual vehicle, thats best, otherwise pick one with the same trim and it will show you all the incentives.

Here is what I get for your region:

Jeep Gladiator Sport S Prices Rising 1592536017854

It would benefit you to lease this vehicle and then immediately buy it out if you don't want to keep the lease.

I was firmly on wanting to purchase one by the end of the month, but it wouldn’t be exactly what I wanted (mainly color). I’m starting to think I should wait it maybe. Maybe I’ll look through this forum to see what sort of deals people were getting Pre COVID and then decide for sure.

I just found out a lot of the rebates are based on where you live if the dealer I talked to is to be believed. I'm with you I'm going to wait a little bit. The new Bronco is going to be announced in July and the fact is we are in a recession, so there is going to be some pressure on them to make deals. Right now they have the upper hand because inventory is low. I'm in no hurry.

Wow. I have a June '19 build and I don't have a single one of those problems. I would imagine that by now those are all worked out.
