How did your pick up go at Tri-City? That’s where I ordered mine from. Crazy I placed my order 5/18 from the same dealer and I’m now just in the build phase and yours has already been delivered...this will definitely play mind games with everyone trying to figure out how they prioritize builds!!
It arrived yesterday. Plan on driving out tomorrow or Thursday. I wasn’t expecting it so soon. Think it has more to do with color than many are saying. Mine is blue.

You and I may end up on the same truck. I ordered mine 5/4 and should go into build today.

Mine is blue. Hopeful mine was on the same truck and it would continue a journey all the way to the coast.

Zero to do with color, that’s information coming from both a manager in the planning and production dept at Jeep HQ over the wrangler and gladiator AND another inside contact that works with logistics.

It has everything to do with the bottom line... costs and making money. Cheapest shipping possible means shipping out only when they have a route avail and full cars.

Isn’t Blue is a premium color? Think I had to pay extra for it.

I think I saw in another post you ordered a manual? If that is the case. That is 100% the reason yours got built so quick. They hadn't made any in months. and then Looks Like they just went ahead and built every manual on order. You probably got your order in the nick of time.

That would be correct, they pushed out a back log of manuals all at once. A full batch of them.

As for blue being a premium color, that just means you paid more for a color and nothing more. Jeep charges for some and others they don’t. There are several factors that play into it and I’m sure popularity is some of that. Nothing more.

Maybe a batch of Sports, but mine is MT Overland, and still waiting since 5/15.

Mine is manual...no build yet. Expected build during week of 7/6. So manual is not making this build faster for me. Overland

Awww that’s great. I’m envious as mine is still D1 status - parts are in, VIN assigned.

I agree about colors. I was on a thread on FB and Scott blum addressed that for me and another guy waiting for our truck and questioning it. According to him it doesnt play a part since they can change the colors easy.

I ordered my Rubicon on May 13th, at least that’s when the deposit came out of my bank acct. I talked with Jeep Chat today and they said that all parts are in for build. Period. Not started yet. And yet CMAN1525, from above post, will be getting his before mine’s even built. I need to order a cap for the bed which takes 8 weeks, so I’m trying to time the picking up of Glad with topper, but...
You and I ordered the same day. Interested to see how our build timelines play out. My estimated ship date was July 1st from the dealership but Jeep Cares says I’m scheduled to go into production the week of July 6th.

Definitely jealous of everyone getting their trucks delivered post shutdown...as I sit here waiting for my JT to show after entering the shipping stage on 6/5. At this point it makes it hard for me to advocate buying from your local dealer, at least if your local dealer isn't one of the top selling regional dealers (regardless of them matching other pricing).

They FINALLY are claiming to have reached out to their "Rep"...the following is the latest emailed response from my local/small town dealer, "so i am just stopping in the office. I am off today. We talk to the rep and he is getting back to us. So far it looks to still be sitting there in the yard as of yesterday. I am waiting to hear back from him. He was looking into it."
