I have seen people go to Home Despot and buy the cheap plastic lawn edging, duct tape it to their fenders to provide coverage and pass the fix it ticket then remove. Seen the same with the edge of a kiddie pool somewhere.

Well I just got pulled
Over and a warning in Ocean City Maryland for no doors and given an inspection tickets for my method wheels Sticking out too far from my stock fender flares. Any suggestions as to what my options are to get through the fender issue. Don’t have another set of wheels. Who would have thought a beach would have cared. It was a state trooper.
Yet another reason I want to move out of MD. With all the real problems they could be dealing with, this is what they spend time and resources on. Smh

Awesome! I heard up northern NM is beautiful. Need to look into those Los Alamos for a job.

The wife and I were in Santa Fe last year and drove up to Los Alamos for the day. What an awesome place. Small town for sure, but clean with a cool, nerdy vibe. The museum was very interesting, learned a lot. There are many worse choices you could make.

Saw this while searching for rock sliders earlier today. Maybe could rig up something like this to be temporary to get through the fix-it ticket?

Do you have a link to these "skirts" if you have one? I have a similar issue with my tires, and have been looking for something like this. Thanks.

Not my Jeep but the owner is on this site. @salvino owns this jeep. He posted that he got them from LowRange off-Road:

Flexy Flares, got them from LowRange Off-Road 4 1/4" under mount,

The whole vehicle inspection thing sounds awful. Hope that never comes to Ohio.
I have lived in Florida my whole life ...so pre inspection days and post.

It is SO MUCH better not having inspection and in general there are less "clunkers" on the road than before. The whole thing was over-nanny stating and I am glad it is gone.

i remember having to undo "mods" to my 69 El Camino :) just so it would pass inspection. Royal PITA.

That's a total bummer the police don't have better things to worry with.
This topic got me wondering about door rules. A quick Google search came up with this site (I have no idea how up to date or accurate it may be):

https://firstquarterfinance.com/is-it-legal-to-drive-a-jeep-without-doors/

Looks like doors off is OK everywhere but Pennsylvania. Most states have laws about the number of mirrors.

Yeah, look up your states laws. Did you have side mirrors attached with doors off? They can't cite you for doors off but the right amount of mirrors. Also check for tires. Fight fight
That’s right, no legal requirements for doors, but you MUST have mirrors.
Tyres: only the grad has to be covered.
You can buy a cheap cheap set from “offer up “ or similar to get by
