Water spaying thru door seals at touchless wash

I have a new overland and I went thru a touchless wash water came from passenger door and hit me in drivers seat. All 4 doors leak but front passenger door is terrible. I have black leather interior.

Is this a common issue? I can simulate it with my thumb over a garden hose. Doors have not been taken off or tampered with

My 2 door JK leaked bad when i had it. Even in the rain. I had to put extra seals on both my doors to fix the issue. Many of my friends had the same issues with JKs. I don’t mess with car washes anymore. All hand washes for me. However, direct hits with my hose at home don’t cause any leaks on my Gladiator. Take it to the dealer and tell them about it. When my friends took their JKs to the dealer it always seemed like their was some sort of “specialist” who came around dealer to dealer TRYING to fix door leaks. It never really helped them. I didn’t bother with dealers and fixed my own.

Need to remember that automotive seals are not necessarily intended for high pressure spray. My last Nissan Frontier would pass drops of water through the sun roof in the car wash. I'm impressed that the Jeep seals as well as it does given how the thing comes apart with the freedom Tops and Roof.

Mine did this as well. But the 2nd time I went through one, it didn't... Don't know what was different, but the 2nd go-round it was water-tight.

Yep. Overland and same thing happened for me. Some spray came through the lower part of the driver door.

I take my roof and doors off pretty much every weekend and went through a wash yesterday with no issues.

Thanks for all the replies. I was shocked because I've had 3 wranglers over the years with no issues. I traded in a 2012 Sahara for the gladiator. I kinda wish now I would have gotten a sport. I love my overland, but I don't like the doors leaking on my leather

I take my roof and doors off pretty much every weekend and went through a wash yesterday with no issues.

My roof and Freedom panels are water-tight, but the driver's side lower door sill was apparently not very.....Well....Sealed.

2020 Overland and I use the touch-less wash every week and I have never had a drop get inside.

JTR here.. Freedon panels and doors off multiple times. Touchless car wash at least a dozen times since March. Not a drop in the cabin.

That happened to me just the other day on my 2021 Sport!? Did you ever get the issue looked at or resolved??

Dealer adjusted the doors. But it still leaks a little. I mostly hand wash
