Thank you for adding me to this forum. I am a few weeks away from purchasing my first Gladiator Rubicon Truck. I found the granite colored rubicon I want loaded with all options I want including the steel bumper and leather seats for 56,500. I also found another one same color with only the cold weather group and they will add the leather seats for 54,500. Is the auxiliary group, the bumper and the safety group worth the $2000 more?

I think auxiliary is worth the money
Bumper only if you like the looks of it others there are plenty of better options out there
Safety group... No
Also if you want all these things, go for it and you will be happy. Otherwise you’ll be regretting it later

Good advice. The AUX switch group was the one missing option on mine that I regretted. I had it added by the dealer later, but it’s a much better value ($295 or so) if you get it factory installed. Lots of bumper options on the market, though. Safety group doesn’t interest me at all, and I specifically ruled out Rubicons that had that option.

If you said the slightly higher priced one had all the options you want then go with that. Specifically the Saftey group. That would be VERY difficult to add after the fact. The bumper (some bumper at least) and aux switches could be added after purchase. Personally, I think the Mopar steel bumper is cost prohibitive to do after the fact compared to other bumper options.

The aftermarket leather is not going to be the same and the back seat is not going to have the armrest. Not sure if that matters or not to you. Big deal to me as the kids really like the rear armrest.

If you plan on adding electronic accessories, Aux is worth it.
Also, I very much find the Safety Group well worth the $ as I have small kids and a million kids on my neighborhood.

Also pending your climate, do you really want leather?
