I am upgrading to 37” AT3W On black rhino 17 . Should I buy a spare rim and tire and try to cram it in the holder or try to put the 37 on the stock steel spare tire or do nothing and pray for no flats and if so just limp it with the standard spare . Thanks

I say buy a 37 on the spare steel wheel. I did this and the spare is smushed up there. It doesn't fit, but it's up there enough it's not going to fall. It's better than nothing

I’m just wondering if it will even fit on the steel wheel . It’s a 245 75 on there now

It depends on how you use your truck. If it’s a daily driver and you never really off road, and you have roadside assistance, you probably don’t really even need a spare.

if you will occasionally, you could just drop it in the bed for those trips.

Or if you want it with you full-time, you could look at other mounting options, such as bed mounted or rear carrier.
