I like my seat up high, almost to the top. I have to constantly jack the lever up. Every morning and, if I’m in it enough, again mid-day. It seems to leak down (I’m assuming it is hydraulic). The dealer replaced the whole seat frame under warranty, but the problem is still there. Anyone else experiencing this? Find a fix?

Just wondering what your weight is (you don't have to answer). I've heard of this problem but have not experienced this. For reference I'm 5'4 and 115lbs. I also like the seat up high.

5’11”. 175 lbs. I don’t think that’s the problem.

Not suggesting it's a weight problem, but rather weak parts problem. It should be able to support a wide range of weight. But if it's weak parts I'd be curious to find out at what weight it begins to lower back down.

It is a very poor design. The lever is in line with the top edge of the seat. Every time you get in or out, you push it a little and it goes down.

I have this in my jku. Agree 100% with above that its very likely your leg pushing the lever down when you get out. Thats been my experience too

Well THATS interesting! I will pay attention and see what happens. I have to pump it on long trips (3-4 hours) but I guess getting out for gas, pit-stops, etc comes onto play. Thanks!

Exactly this, is my thought as well.

Same issue but it actually takes day to notice it lowered. I have never got the pump getting or out. 5'10" 177lbs.

I wish I was 175 again. I'm at 200.
I slide out of the truck and never even come close to that lever.
The seat has never gone down and I don't even come CLOSE to touching the lever getting in or out, not even close. It sits down a ways from the top edge of the seat and I've even read this from others and tried to push the seat down with my hands to see if I could find a way to hit it getting in or out, can't figure out how it happens.
No problems supporting my 200 pounds (don't let my wife see that, she thinks I'm not up that far yet)

Maybe you are a vampire. Can you see yourself in mirrors? Just checking.
