It is your off road cruise control, basically. It is in the manual page 123 and 143 explains it.

Thanks, it just dawned on me but the manual kind of sucked on the button definition.

I can't find this in my hard copy of the owners manual but what I found it referred to as is 'selec speed control' which just appears to be crawl mode in 4L.

Ok, it is called 'Selec Speed Control' and is only appears to be discussed in the instrument panel light section of the hard copy of the owners manual.

It’s for rock crawling...I used it yesterday at Rausch Creek Off-road park..and its fecking awesome.

Uses the brakes to control crawl speeds that are set in increments using the manual mode + and -

Its a very low torque gear as well...so you climb up controled...and don’t drop hard...it controls coming off rocks too.

Warning: It makes a helluva racket as its doing its thing.

Thanks guys, my owners manual sucked for this and when i grabbed the keys when i bought it, i ran. Once i got the feature name, there was a bunch of info info.
