You know I just cant see them being 90k. perhaps I am wrong but im not sure they would sell as many as they want to. I imagine 65k-75k. Hopefully
Think about it like this, the most expensive stock Rubicon Gladiator or Wrangler you can buy will run you right at $65,000 sitting stock with no lift. The 392 wrangler is supposed to be a fully loaded Rubicon on 2" of lift sitting on 37" BFG KM2s. A Rubicon Gladiator for sale at Hendricks when I bought mine sitting on 37's with 2" of lift sold for $78,000. Add in the Hemi and your going to be just shy of $90,000. They ain't going to build one thinking about a average Joe market, or that's the feedback I've been getting from the managers at Hendricks as far as the Wrangler goes. I would imagine the same market strategy for the JT also, you can forget about a 5.7 liter model.

I don't think you understand how the 4XE hybrid works.
Oh i understand it very well. It adds a tremendous amount of complexity , more things to break and so much more weight that it cancels out any gains in HP.

Devil's advocate: Are they going to put another model into a price point they've already targeted for a brand new model (Wagoneer?) Jeep doesn't want to cannibalize between models, they're looking for market share.

Their last 'largest' initiative, the Commander simply stole Grand Cherokee owners. And that was a flop!

If it comes down to a $$$ decision (and I love Wranglers) I'd drop the extra 10-20 grand and get a Grand Wagoneer fully loaded over a Wrangler. At this price point, these are unchartered waters for them.

ugh literally just ordered a mojave a week ago. I would have paid another $10k for the 5.7 and another 2" lift w/ 37 tires lol. I've had three rams with the 5.7 and the engine was the best mechanical item on that truck... that engine is fantastic! Trannies all sucked imo...

One of the reasons I say they want put it in a Gladiator, but I still stick by that they will only sell a special edition Wrangler and Gladiator if they do decide to do it. Limited number of them produced, which wouldn't hurt sells because they would sell them more than likely to that dude who's looking for a V8 mid size truck to brag about. They don't mind adding lifts and tires to one and sitting it on their lots and charging $10000 to $15000 extra for it, and they don't have a problem selling them either when they do, or at least on the lots around here they don't.

I agree it is going to be a bragging rights model. $90k is a lot of cheddar; I don't think it will be that much. Keep in mind it is the dealer markup that is charging $10k-15k for a 2" lift and tire package, not Jeep. From the factory, it will be cheaper; though like any limited edition model, the dealer will mark it way over MSRP to try and capitalize on perceived demand.

My manual sport s with 37’s, 4.88’s and magnaflow street exhaust is rip snorting good fun to drive. It’s quick, jumps off the line and I can hole shot and surprise just about anyone at a light. Has more than enough power for everything could want including towing it’s 4000 lb limit. Wrong vehicle for 400+ hp imo. They aren’t very fun at 80 mph lol. Regardless of my bank account status for a jt...the sport s manual trans and add a few things is the ultimate way to fly. For an auto v8 I’ll be in a half ton and actually have a fuel tank big enough to get some range out of it.

the pentastar is very light compact engine, like 350 lbs, awesome power for 350 lbs! Those hemi will easily be 550 lb motor and add more weight for auto trans also....a sport s manual is a light sporty athletic ride when geared for the tire height, I’d choose that driving experience over a nose heavy v8 auto any day

the diesel is a heavy pig also

I suppose it's speculation, but based on what dealers have been doing for many years, no matter what price FCA puts on a V8 Jeep, we can expect dealers to slap on an extra $10,000 or more due to "Limited Availability". We can also expect at least some dealers to bolt on another $15,000 in accessories to every V8 Jeep requiring anyone who wants one to pay WAY more than they should.

Shoot, it wasn't long ago when dealers were doing this for the Gladiator.
