Unfortunately this has been a common problem for some of us. Mine started leaking about 6 months after ownership. Dealer replaced the back glass and the problem has not resurfaced; that was about a year ago.

How the hell often do you go to the car wash lol
Haha honestly i go through probably 2 times a week. I have a unlimited car wash membership. I drive over a 100 miles a day for work so I try and keep it clean. I know it’s bad

Did yours leak around the top? Was it a pain to get it replaced under warranty?

Yes it was leaking just above the sliding window. Must have been a problem with the seal when they installed it at the factory.

It was not a big pain, just took about a day at the dealer. It was their first replacement on a Gladiator and they were a little nervous about it, but they didn’t argue it.

After reading some post on here I’m afraid to have it fixed. I see a lot of people having their roofs scratched up.

I had this issue happen all of a sudden as well. Went to buckle in my kid and noticed the rear driver side seat was soaking wet. I could see where droplets were forming inside on the top but couldn't trace it back to anything obvious. Dropped it off with the dealer and was first told that "We see a lot of these come in, and it's mostly because there is an air seal around the edges of the removable top and you probably popped it when installing it". I bit my tongue and had them keep it for about 48 hours and look into it. The answer they gave me on pickup was "It looks like the leak was caused due to the window missing some of the sealant coating. Probably something that one of the robots in the factory missed". Official description on the service paperwork was "RESEAL BACK GLASS". Repair was covered under warranty.

Just had my rear window replaced as well. Factory issue, they said when then pulled the window out it wasn't sealed in about 30% of the area around the window.

Is this something you can see without removing? As in, do I need to wait for a leak to find out if I don’t have sealant where it’s supposed to be or can I just see that it’s not there and gave them fix

No you can't see it, if it doesn't leak you don't have an issue

Haven't had the issue yet through the last storm we had. Holding my breath and crossing my fingers.

As someone with a 2021 on order I would love to think they have flagged this as an issue by now and made some tweaks on the production line....but.....I won't hold my breath. Truly this sounds like some goofy little adjustment to a procedure or to a machine settting.

This many (If I counted correctly = 6) out of how many JTs built?

No leaks here - I've washed mine several times, and drove through our derecho with rain driven by 70mph winds, no leaks.
Not saying it won't happen - but how large is the issue, honestly, to have Jeep flag it?
Just wondering......... has anyone truly quantified it?
So far there are no TSBs about it - not that I've found.
