2021 Sport S coming without the air dam?

I’ve seen a bunch of threads with people removing the air dams. But have they started coming from the factory without the dam? I went to two dealerships around Phoenix today and there was no air dam on the few Sport S’s they had in stock. Even made sure it had the sport sticker to confirm.

I’m planning to order a Max Tow Sport S and would love for it to come that way. So just curious if there is a way to order it stock without. Unfortunately the salesmen weren’t familiar with it enough to know.

Are you referring to the pieces between the bumper & the fenders?
If the JT has the, "Premium Bumper," the one with the silver trim pieces around the fog lights, it won't have those filler pieces.

These had the black top, but did have the color matched fenders. Is the premium bumper listed separately or part of a package? I’ll be pumped to not have it included. Will just have to replace or paint the fog light bezel.

I have the black Freedom Top.
The Premium Bumper is listed as part of the 24S Preferred Package, along with the painted fenders.

I have the 24S with painted fenders which I don't like and the chrome trim around the fog lights which I do like. Never noticed i had an air dam or not. You have a pic of what you're talking about?

The trim piece between the bumper and turn signal is gone on 21 Sport S trim.

My ‘21 Max Tow Sport S came with painted fenders and no filler/air dams and black hardtop. I believe the bumper/fender upgrade is a package change over the ‘20. Did so many builds on the website, I dont recall if its part of the Sport S or the Max Tow

Typically, yes thats what Id call an air dam. Reading about what people have removed from their trucks- Id guess the OP is referring to the filler piece between the fender and bumper. Visible in your picture as missing on the blue Jeep but there on the Red one. It’s midnight and Im a few Vodka sodas i to the night, so Im open to further interpretation.

for clarity, mine has the plastic thing below the bumper your arrow points to, but not the filler between fender and bumper

yes sorry that is what I’m referring to. I have no clue what it’s called and thought I saw it referred to that in one of the threads where folks removed it. And since it still shows in the builder image for the jeep site was expecting it there. Happy surprise.

I have a '21 Sport S (no max tow), painted fender flares, black top, etc. It did come with air dams. I'm sure what you saw was a dealer upgrade/package. Unless you order a premium bumper, they come with that piece in between the bumper and fender flare.

Ok, I see it now. The red one has the thing coming up from the bumper to cover the front tire and the blue has the skid plate looking thing on the bottom.

Not feeling the filler but like the slider.
