That is NOT a skid plate. It's plastic.The thing below the bumper is a skid plate. Note the angle of attachment. The trim panels on the sides between the bumper and fender are just that. Trim. An Air Dam is an airflow control device to help the vehicle stay on the road at racing speeds or 'hood eye candy.

. I just found it a bit amazing how much back and forth there was about what these things were called, and whether they were installed or not installed. And my lack of patience just got the better of me I guess, sorry to everyone that I may have offended.
