Want an exhaust with a mellow note and no drone

From my experience, all aftermarket exhaust systems drone @ one RPM range or another.

Have a muffler shop cut off the 2 front mufflers/resonators and put a 2.5" Magnaflow in their place. Put a 32 or 33" J pipe in the space in front of it. No drone, mellow exhaust that's louder than stock.

All drones can be eliminated with a J pipe (quarter wave pipe).

I have a Borla touring (crawler) in mine. I’m very pleased with the tone. Nothing that I would call a drone at all.

i will. I was about to order the Borla touring exhaust, but I’ve really liked AWE in the past. Their quality has historically been really high. I think its probably closer to the S Type in volume, but they have historically cancelled out drone and volume at cruise really well, so Im going to give it a go. They also look like they pick up a good chunk if mid range. Stay tuned.....ill post more when i get it.
