I started this thread just to answer some questions I see others asking... "Will 37's fit on my......" I had the same questions, but all I could find was people running no lift on the Rubicons with their taller suspension and raised fenders.

The short answer is yes they should fit, but yes they will rub from time to time (do not rub at all when turning, but do when I go over dips at higher speeds) ... and no way I would ever try to go off road with them the way they are now.

Specs: 2021 Sport, manual, factory suspension. Aftermarket front bumper and 12k winch.

Rims have 4.5" of back spacing.

Tires are 37x12.50R17.

looks good, but I'd still get a lift if you are going off road. More articulation. and what gearing are you running?

I'm on stock gears for now. I plan on lifting it. I had a lift on order from Amazon, but they lost it. So now I'm waiting on one from Quadratec but it doesn't even ship until the 29th.

Is the only rub you are having on the fenders for vertical travel?

I have been trying to figure out this setup for quite a while and your post is the best I have found so far. I do not have 37s but thinking about that when I need tires next. My setup is slightly different as I have Rubicon take-off suspension and a 1.5" spacer in the front and .75" in the rear. I would also have flat tube fenders and aftermarket wheels before the tires.

I ran 37s on my eco diesel sport for a week while I was waiting for my lift kit to come in the mail. I had zero issues on the road. I would not take it off road or even... mall crawling... in that configuration. But as a temporary thing, it's possible.

The tires barely kiss the fenders only when hitting dips or bumps while going at a pretty good speed, if I slow down they don't hit at all.
looks like you'd rub on a curb

don't cheap out on lift kits

what gears come in the sport manual, 3.73 or 4.10?
I will most likely piece my lift kit together myself from various different manufactures. I don't want to have to much money wrapped up in it at first because I will most likely redo almost everything further down the road. The Sport manual comes stock with 373 gears.
We have different definitions of "working".
It works in as far as for street driving somewhere that has reasonably normal roads it's not going to rip the fenders off or prevent you from daily driving anywhere on pavement. I would not take it wheeling even down a washboard gravel road however.

Thanks! I look forward to making them, lol! :D

I don't have enough experience with the JT/JL platform to where I feel comfortable recommending anything to anyone, I merely posted so people would know they're not at risk of accidently killing a bus full of nuns and kittens if they choose to install their 37's before they install their lift. I'm not advocating for no lift to be permanent solution though.

As far as I have read, the Rubicon springs are supposedly 1" taller than the Sport springs, so with the 1.5" spacer you would have a lot more room than I do which might prevent the slight on street rubbing, but unless you bumpstop the heck out of it I believe it would still sit to low for 37's offroad. However I don't know how much clearance you would gain with flat tube fenders. I do know there are a few folks claiming that the 2" Mopar lift and Rubicon fenders that have been chopped are working well with 37's, but also from what I've read the Mopar lift seems to be a little bit higher than 2" and their idea of working might be different than what InvertedLogic would find acceptable.
