Ran the costs of 35’s with a lift and feel I’m now more open to just upgrading to 33’s. Haven’t seen many of you guys (non rubicon’s) on 33’s, would love to see some pictures to get an idea.

I think 33s are perfect for stock height, but if you have a lift, I think you're going to want 35's+. I gave some different angles to give you an idea (my JT has 33's with no lift)...

Looks good man! What size are those wheels? You have any issues off-roading in 33’s?

The wheels are 20" Fuel Beasts. I've only done mild off-roading on local SoCal trails thus far and just came back from a snow-packed Big Bear trip (great in the snow). Obviously with 20's I use my JT as more of a "Dad" truck than an off-road Jeep, but I love my setup.

I plan on doing a Mopar 2" lift and when I do, I'll probably go 35's.

No lift.
Black Rhino Rims -18 offset

I have off-roaded on the stock rims at 18 PSI and had no issues. yet to off road on the black rhinos
mostly moderate trails, nothing super nasty.

285 Milestar Patagonias on the stock wheels. I like the size but wish the rim backspacing was a little less. And I will paint them black in spring.

You can add Spidertrax wheel spacers to bring them out a little. I did that on a JK, ran them for 3 years with not one single problem.

Stock wheels powder coated black. 255/80/17 Falkens—skinny 33’s. Max Tow so they stick out a little more—makes up for the skinny. Light weight and great for towing.

I went with 285/75/17 Ridge Grapplers, which are a 34" equivalent. I like that they are lighter, less expensive, and in my opinion they work well with the "retro" Analog HD's and 2" Mopar lift.

Thank you. I went with the C load rating, as most of my use will be on-road. I've been very pleased with the performance and manners of these tires so far. I found them on Amazon for $265 each, which I thought was reasonable.

I like the look of the Willy's wheels also, but they are hard to find on the classifieds around here.

right on - thanks for the info! I had the 35 ridge grapplers on my last JKU for 40k miles before i sold it, and i really liked them alot! The JT wont see much more than road duty and some dirt roads/beachs so i'm trying to balance weight/cost/mpg, so i think level + 34s will do the job once these bfg's wear down (or if i decide to sell them)

I like having multiple rim and tire choices. I have 37's but running Sport rims on Rubicon tires.
