It clearly has to be dealers dropping the ball and just not wanting to do the work and really not caring about the costumer. My rep from @JeepCares was clearly bullied by my dealer so i have little faith that i can have the issue resolved.
Are you currently working with a case specialist and at the dealer for repairs, RH 67? If so and you would like us to reach out to your case owner or to discuss further, send us a PM.

Hi @JeepCares,
I’m going to take my 2020 JT in to have work done. What’s the best way to ensure I’m taken care of without experiencing what other owners have?
Bentonville AR has a dealer but I purchased the Jeep in Broken Arrow OK.
Honestly I wasn’t impressed with sales department at Bentonville dealer. Should I expect something different from service department?
Thanks for any help.
Unfortunately, I cannot speculate on the service department, SkyKing. What I do know is that all of our dealerships are staffed by highly trained individuals who have been informed on how to best perform the repairs needed. That said, if you would like to have a Jeep specialist work alongside you and the dealership during the appointments, we are happy to help. Please send us a private message to get started.

Hello Kate,

I have tried to get mine done, however the dealership has kept me waiting for months already. I thought this would have been addressed already, however it seems like FCA has other priorities other than costumer service.
I'm sorry to hear that, Midviet. Are you referring to getting an appointment or obtaining parts? Either way our team is happy to assist you. Please send a private message with some more detail.

For anyone in GA, where did you take yours and how was the experience? I’m looking to avoid an asshole service manager or the inept mechanic who is going to mess up my Jeep. Thanks!
If you'd like, our team can provide a list of dealers near you that you can work with. To get started, send us a private message that includes your zip code.

I appreciate it, but I am already familiar with the dealers around me. Just curious which one isn’t going to give me a run around for a know issue and perform the service properly. Ive owned for a year and have just dealt with the steering slop. I’m starting to grow weary now. Thanks!

Jeepcares...ā€dealerships are staffed with highly trained individualsā€? Are you FN kidding me? They left the steering shaft bolt hanging by a threat when I got my last box (#6) installed. The Owner of that dealership test drove it before returning it to me and said ā€œits a jeep, drives fineā€.
It’s 2021, we all carry computers in our pockets, and FCA can’t manage to have a QUALITY steering box built? Nope, that’s not the problem here. The problem is that the FCA is more worried about their bottom line $, which is why they have these boxes built in china and don’t pay enough to employ any kind of quality control. It is 100% the FCA’s UNETHICAL manufacturing practices.
How did that work out for you FCA? I wonder how many more sales you would of had if you weren’t disgraceful human beings.
In My Opinion.

Im sorry if this has already been asked, but do you know if this applies to 2021's as well? I noticed that my '21 wanders a good bit on the freeway an involves a lot of steering input to keep straight, and has that "dead" spot in the center that everyone else mentions...

I too have a 2021 with the updated steering box from the factory & mine still wonders. I'm constanty correcting the steering from left to right & have a pretty good dead spot in the center. I guess those of us with 2021's are SOL.....

By dead spot do you mean there is play? If so, you can adjust it out in about 15 minutes with an allen wrench. Loosen the nut, tighten allen, tighten nut. It's on top of steering box. Just need to remove the airbox. Plenty of videos on the youtube for "jeep steering box adjustment"

Ok, here we go once again. I have a simple Rock Krawler 3" lift as many here have and for the second time i`m being told that the work cannot be done because of the lift.

Kate from JeepCares just sent this to me:
Hey, RH 67. I was able to locate a case for your concerns and your situation was escalated to a specialty team for assistance, unfortunately, after their review, due to the aftermarket accessories, the TSB is not able to be performed. We do apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused you and recommend staying in touch with your dealer if you have more questions.

Kate
Jeep Cares

By accessories she means the lift. All she did was go over the old files and gave me the same answer as before. Then the slap in the face, she says stay in touch with your dealer, well the dealer is where the issue is as the tech at the dealer does not like working on lifted Jeeps and is lazy. If they would let me i could install the new box myself.

The first go around they could not do the TSB because they did not have the correct bolts i contact JeepCares to hurry up the process and that`s when it went from waiting for bolts to not being able to do the TSB at all.

Bottom line is JeepCares is following a script if they had the means to do anything my truck would have been done months ago.

Also the rules are not the same or equal across the board why some can get the work done and others cannot is not fair.
