Yes you can. You can set this up in the Settings menus to trigger specific cameras when the turn signal is turned on. You can also customize when the camera turns off. Whether that's when your Jeep reaches a specific speed, steering angle, gear, or after a set time duration.

That's awesome. Any camera's you recommend for front and right side?

Also, can it split the screen and show multiple cameras at the same time (like front and back when in reverse)?
That is not currently an available function.

The HEIGH10 has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which you will need to plug your phone in to support. Wireless CarPlay is not a feature due to the large amount of data that would need to be transferred causing a loss in quality without a WiFi signal.
Hey Mike! I'm prepping for my install tomorrow and have a question on the USB console connection that is meant serve as the port for Apple Carply. Is there an option to wire the connection so that the USB port on the dash can serve as the port for Apple CarPlay? I really don't want to use the center console port for this purpose - it's much more convenient if it's the one on the dash.

You just change the connection on the back of the head unit and make sure you use the dash usb connector for the apple car
play.

Sounds easy enough, thanks. I thought about getting a Wireless CarPlay adapter so I wouldn't have to worry about it and could just tuck that way inside the console and not even worry about plugging the phone into the USB port. Just not sure these wireless adapters work with the Stinger radio.

Hey Nick,

As far as wireless CarPlay adapter, I have seen users say they used them fine with the HEIGH10. However, we have not verified how well it works. Plugging in for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will provide a higher quality data transfer as well as charge your device.
Thank you!

***Correction to this comment: Apple CarPlay will not work through the USB in the dash. You will need to run the connection to the USB in the center console as indicated in the installation manual.

Also can the Stinger use the car's built in microphone or do you have to use the add on one? If not- is there any reason to use the add in versus the one already in the Gladiator?

That looks great. Was it hard to install? Did you just run the wires through the firewall?
very simple. The stinger wire harness has power and ground available for each camera input. I connected the video , power and ground to the harness. Then ran this down behind the center console between the console and firewall towards the driver side. Then, if you pop the hood and look just below the brake booster on the driver side firewall, you’ll see a black plastic plug. I removed that by just by pushing out from the inside . Then drilled a hole right in the center of it to pass the wires through to the engine bay, then snapped it back in. Finally, since my license plate is right up front and center on my LoD destroyer bumper, I was able to mount the camera to the license place bracket along the top edge. I tried the grill location, like the mopar trail cam, but my bull bar blocked the view. Using the license plate location was much better

Just placed my order for the Stinger! I’m looking at cameras on Amazon- anyone know how to run a camera placed on the side mirrors back into the dash area?
