What is the benefit of mounting the mirror high on the handle vs low/more conventional? I know you could do either.

Not sure why, but CMM made them to mount in the upper hand hold anchor. I'd be curious to hear their logic if anyone knows it.

You can swap them around for use in the lower anchor points which puts them in a standard position and also lets them extend just a bit more beyond the body.

I thought I read once that they obstruct the door opening more and people bump their heads getting in/out. Not sure if that’s true...

I picked up some free aluminum bed rails off Nissan Titan, and installed them on the front of my bed and mounted some fork mounts for the bikes.

Good question. I like it up on the handle because it’s at eye level. Small twist of the head or turn of the eyeballs and you have your side view. It’s also where CMM has it in their instructions and I’m that guy that follows the instructions step 1, step 2... drives my wife crazy.

I bought the quake led fender chop for my sport s and figured out away to keep my inner fender instead of tossing it away. I absolutely love the look of it and they are super bright as well!

Sorry if you already posted this and I missed it. Did you take off the trim around the edge of the painted fender when you chopped? Most of the chops I have seen leave the plastic trim and cut it in alignment with the lights. It looks like you removed it completely?
