I have them. I just slide my foot down the edge of the slider as I'm exiting the truck until I catch the projecting edge of the step and push it down. It works ok for exiting the truck, but I use it more when getting in than getting out.I wonder how you deploy them when youāre exiting the truck....
I did that to my rails about 2 months ago. Used the same brand. Been working out great.i know you said no drilling, but I just ordered the Lund/ Rampage rock slider steps. I will be installing them on the factory rock rails with riv nuts. It seemed like an inexpensive option worth trying.
