Better Investment: Bitcoin or Gladiators???

Any one else check the value of their Gladiator lately? NADA shows mine is worth over $8K more than MSRP!
Not that any one would pay that of course. For comparison, I saw a dealer with an unsold Launch Edition with 283 miles on it for sale for $55,900, so clearly $70K is a tad bit high.
But it is funny that due to the global chip shortage, some used car valuations are off the charts.

Some of the Antique and Classic cars can be considered an investment, especially if they are rare or limited in quantity. As a general rule, vehicles are a money pit. Looking at them any other way is a losing proposition.

I ordered two identical 2021 JT Sports w/max tow (in sting-gray) w/factory bed liner which I immediately installed Mopar 2" lifts, 35" tires, rock sliders, neoprene seat covers, and floor matts. They have both been sitting inside in storage ever since the day that they were delivered back in December. Both have less than 200 miles on them.
I paid $43K for each. I wonder what they are worth now?

I paid $43K for each. I wonder what they are worth now?

They would probably be worth more if they had been left completely stock.

Does that amount paid include the mods, sales tax, and other purchase costs?

Were they financed, or paid in full?

You might come out ahead if you can keep them in storage about 25 years.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. They are being converted (all of the mods are reversible) into commercial Jeep tour vehicles for this summer season. They are not for sale. Just curious.

Yesterday was a bloody day for all in crypto. I lost quite a bit in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Doge.
Luckily all 3 seem to have some double digit gains today.
I mean, not Gladiator appreciation numbers, but respectable.

Any one else check their NADA value lately? Curious if other trim levels see the same crazy valuation or if maybe this is more of a Launch Edition bump due to the limited supply of 4190 of them.
I have never seen a vehicle be worth more than MSRP on the Used Market other than a classic or exotic.

Just go the Ron Swanson route, buy gold and bury it under random trees. Honestly probably as safe as crypto at the moment.

Just remember to consider the replacement value when looking at your resale value. Just because you could sell yours for more than your original sticker price doesn't mean anything if you'd have to spend it all on a replacement. Net gain is zero.
