2 weeks ago, I traded my Sport S for 2K more than I paid for it in Sept of last year (keeping all my aftermarket mods except the PRP seat covers) on a 21 Mojave that was priced just under 41K. Very happy with the deal, although I did lose some options on the Mojave (most notable winter package and hardtop) but got the only option that mattered...6spd!

Wow, 41k for a Mojave - that’s a steal.
I just traded from my 2021 JLUR for a 2021 Mojave - paid $47.2k for my Mojave(also a manual trans) and thought I got a deal.

I loved the Rubicon, but my wife also has a JLU Sahara(also stick shift) and I really wanted a truck. Took advantage of the insane trade in and got the Mojave. Really loving it so far, just as fun to drive as my Rubicon was, if not better. Love the Mojave suspension.

I don't get it either. I also traded my 19 jlu Sport S got 10k over what I paid OTD and picked up a 21 gladiator "Overlander" that had 10k off the sticker. who knew 3k in accessories could net you this much value.

To be exact, it was 42,650 with $1750 in rebates. The Nashville dealer had 3 at that price...all optioned exactly the same (really, beside being a Mojave, the only added option was the Trailer tow package). All 3 sold that day. They also had 2 base Rubicons that were only $500 more than the Mojave's...also sold that day. Not sure if it was a fire sale or what :) I know the rebates expired that day (May 31st)

Gawd this thread is like a bunch of pushers and I’m on my 12th step ?
12th step? Is that the one where you buy everyone on the forum breakfast at Denny's?

I'll have to find the paperwork...I'm west towards Jackson so not too familiar with names...it's off of I-65 if that helps :)

yeah, but you also arent getting discounts like usual. Trades rise, sell prices rise.

Now, if you are ordering at one of the discounters who are still doing the same deals, then thats good.
Yea true. This is my current deal compared to the deal I negotiated in October 2020 at the Idaho dealers that heavily discount (7.6% under invoice):

Sale price of Gladiator for current deal was $5k more than October deal for the exact same build. If I ordered it, the local dealer would have given me invoice less rebates which would be an additional $1000-$1500 off ...but I didn't want to risk waiting and they had exactly what I wanted in stock.

Trade in price for my JLUR for current deal was $8500 more...so I still netted out a better deal by $3500 now vs. last October.

So yea, numbers still worked out heavily in my favor ;-)

Cheers

Yep, sold my 2018 4Runner TRD Pro to the dealer for about 5k more than I paid for it in 2017. Selling my 2001 Tundra for $500 less than I paid for it in 2009. Like many others, these crazy used car values are why I will soon (this weekend hopefully) be getting into a Firecracker Red Mojave, can’t wait. Haven’t had a convertible since I sold my 89 Samurai in 93. Pretty much been a truck guy ever since and as much as I wanted one, couldn’t see downsizing to a Wrangler. Luckily Jeep has finally given me the best of both worlds!
Lol, I had one of those, had to turn the radio off to go up a hill, looking for more power but was sure fun driving it
