100:1= final drive ratio? I'd love to see this package on a JT.

Okay ground clearance. Thanks. It just to me seemed like break over angle would have been the next logical number to advertise. With the additional wheelbase length I think is where the Gladiator might have a shortfall compared with the Wranglers.
Not a hardcore/extreme off-roader but I do have some scrapes and scratches on my Sahara’s belly so I don’t baby it. Just want to be able to take a Gladiator everywhere I’ve taken the Sahara without being hung up and teetering.
Thanks for the replies.

That's what I assumed as well. Maybe it's not enough to clearly beat the Bronco breakover, and so no need to advertise?

Edit: Link removed from an "Insiders" site that reports on Mopar products, which seems to be confirming the Expedition Portal leak.

I just can't fathom why this wouldn't be available on the 2 door, especially when Iirc, Ford will allow Sasquatch on both.

There's an argument for why the 2 door can't get the diesel (packaging the extra emissions equipment) or the 392 (safety; too front heavy without the additional length to offset).

But lift and tires? Gears? What's the problem?

Might want to separate the words in the website so it's not banned.

Wasn't there another 1 of these yesterday on the license plate/bumper that said 3 something? I was busy training a new guy and didn't get to look at it and now can't find it :(

Newbie question. How do we know what sites are banned on this Forum, so we don't make a mistake and link them?

This is my guess...

The sign has oversized wheels, no top, two door.

Here is a Jeep concept from 2009. Decal says Lower Forty

Always loved that concept. It inspired me to build my last crawler in similar, but much less nice fashion. V8 power, Dana 70s F&R, 39.5" TSLs and super low COG. I was running stock Grand Cherokee V8 front springs and 1.5" BDS rear coils. The top of the cage was just a hair under 6'. I loved the integrated cage and windshield frame so I mimicked the best I could while keeping it strong.

In the 4th quarter of 1940 (with paper work being prepared in April of 1940)... Thus 40.4...

The U.S. Army asked auto makers to produce a four-wheel-drive reconnaissance vehicle to replace horses and mules. Three prototypes were delivered by Willys-Overland and Ford. The GP ('Jeep') was born.

I know it's a stretch on the 40.4, but there are rumors Jeep is planning to deliver a smaller two seat open top Jeep reminiscent of the original GP.

I know I'll buy one if they do! OR... If I guessed right, Jeep should give me one. lol

By the way... Goodyear produces a 40.4 inch diameter Endurance RSA tire. That's probably the real hidden message.
I like the story. Also, really like the concept of a new Jeep sized like the original. Maybe electric with charge capacity that gets you to the trail with plenty of battery for the days off roading and enough juice remaining to get you back home.

There's now speculation over on the JL forum that the optional 4.88 gears may be paired with 37" tires.

The argument is that 35" tires wouldn't be enough to increase the Rubicon's ground clearance to 12.9".

Again, it would fit with how Jeep publicizes the highest possible configuration for a given metric.

The following was posted on Jeep's FB page

12.9 - picture of rocky terrain. I assume this is the new ground clearance
33.6 - picture of water - I assume this is the new water fording depth
47.4 - picture of an incline/mountainside - I assume this is the new pitch angle (was 40 before I think)
100:1 - picture of rocky hill with boulders - gear ratio?

If stock 33" tires give 12" of clearance, then 35s add an inch, would make it 12.9" with adjustment for fully inflated tires.

My Sport had 32" tires, measured 30.5", had 11" from ground to pumpkin. Added 35" tires (34.7" actual) measures 12" from ground to pumpkin at 30psi
