My Gladiator isn't my first FCA/Stellantis vehicle, so I knew the buttons were there. One of the nice features of the lineup is that the buttons are in the same places in almost all the vehicles.

Found them on day 1, my wife said "Why did you not tell me about this?"
Then I explained the methodology of SiriusXM channel numbers. That sparked another round of questions....
It`s all good:facepalm:

Sorry for a slight hijack, but can anyone tell me if there is a way to cause the tuner scan button to scan your preset stations when using the buttons, rather than scan the entire universe of stations? Living in NYC, the tuning buttons are useless on the FM radio as the scan stops on 100 stations. Thanks
Left center button let's you cycle through your presets.

Probably. Is it still full of ads and talking morons?

My GMC Sierra had them and my GMC Canyon I believe my Volt did as well. Since I was used to those controls I found them fairly quickly.

But so is youtube and television.
Talking morons are on all social media.

And this ain't my first Jeep and not my first vehicle with steering wheel controls like this.

I guess some people aren't curious enough to check things out LOL
3 and 9 are still considered commonly used areas. 2 and 10 even more. Check out old steering wheels - lot's of wear in those areas.

Is this one of those "tell me you're left-handed without telling me you're left-handed" things?
I've been used to controls like these for many years - but there is a point to the volume being on the right and not the left being weird.
Yes, I'm left handed but this has zip to do with it - it's that I've been driving cars since I was 14 - I'm 64, and every single radio I've ever used has had the volume control on the LEFT and the station/tuning on the right.
So the natural graduation from old-fashioned AM/FM radio in cars would be to move volume to left part of wheel, tuning to right part, like radios have been for many decades. Even on my phone the volume control is on the left.

Just pointing out other points of view and other ways of looking at it.

3 & 9 are recommended anymore due to airbags. If you use 2 & 10, the airbag will hit your arms instead of pushing them away.

The volume is on the left because that's closest to the driver, and it happens to be the driver's right hand. That's 1 school of thought.

I've had steering wheels with audio controls on both sides. And I still use the dash knob because it's quicker sometimes.

The worst controls I've had to deal with is from Audi- the cruise control stalk is off the steering "shaft" at 7:30. From a driving position, you can't see it. I have to fumble around to find it.

So do the RHD Aussie vehicles have the volume control on the right side of the radio? Hmmmmm.
(*a bit of tongue-in-cheek there - maybe?????..........)

I've also had and driven vehicles with the stupid stalk locations - some had a dozen different switches and controls and positions for same and you have to almost turn and lean over to see what you are doing until you learn them intimately. It's almost like every single thing they could think of got stuck onto that stupid stalk - and you couldn't see it and it was at an odd angle.

Anyway, I guess I'm fine with the audio/radio controls because my 2011 truck had them, my wife's Grand Cherokees over the years, etc. - it's what we get used to, our comfort zone in the end.

I probably drove mine for a week before I felt them back there. Going from a '96 Chevy pickup I'd driven for 21 years, there was a pretty big learning curve getting into a modern vehicle. But truth is, I almost never use them. Not sure if I forget the buttons are there or just haven't gotten in the habit of using it yet. Doesn't help that my commute to work is about 5 minutes.
