whats up with quadratec

on 5/3 ordered a set of rockhard patroit sliders. was given a 6-8 week lead time. in the 6 th week contacted via email and was told by monica 6-8 weeks from 5/3 i already knew this. just wanted an update. at week 9 called rockhard spoke with jason said order was never place/confirmed. he call them too. afew days later i call customer service and they confirmed that my order was being processed and sent to rockhard on7/9. called rockhard today 7/15 to check on possible ship date, jason at rock looked for the order and there was none.
WTF QUADRATEC? JUST CANCEL MY ORDER U1754634.

We just bought a tire cover and a keychain. I know, small stuff, but both delivered pretty quickly.

I work in the supply chain (though not for Quadratec), and I can tell you the industry is taxed to the breaking point right now. Drivers are hard to come by, and everything is in short supply. Suppliers to the supplier can't even get anything right now.

Or you could call and ask for someone in management to assist. They have a good reputation. This could be an isolated case.

No need to go directly into full on dick mode.

I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of stuff through Quadratec, big and small. 100% positive interaction. Even on orders that didn't turn out, warranty issues, etc. It's easy to cancel an order. Buy direct from Rockhard and cut the middleman out.

I also work in manufacturing, on the supply chain side, but in a US factory. We haven't stopped either, luckily. But I'd be lying if I said there haven't been any problems. We've had several very key folks get very sick to the point of longterm hospitalization. We have also had to shut down the occasional line for a few hours until we could find folks to fill in. We haven't been able to produce all the things we've wanted to, in the quantities we'd like to. We've been burned by many suppliers, both foreign and domestic as well.

Quadratec has been very very good supplier and prices over many years and Wranglers for me. Hard as it is to accept, they are not the only industry set back by covid. No matter how you look at it. Chip industry has us all waiting for technology to be delivered in many industries. New car showrooms are empty, Motorcycle and ATV shops have no new products. Hospitals are waiting 12 weeks and more for IS hardware to ship.

I unfairly "ripped" Extreme Terrain for the Red Rock bed sliders that were on constant back order and I received constant postponements to my order. Once I canceled they arrived. Great product and price by the way.

I did (7/17) go back and remove my harsh eval cause I know, we are all in this stink hole of post covid together.

Look on the bright side, at least you are not back ordered on a health care device to keep your loved ones alive or comfortable.
