Apparently they have confirmed there would also be a Trail Grapper in this size too, 38.

I would buy those! Actually, I just wish there was a little more void on the edges of the Ridge Grappler for better mud traction when aired down...Apparently they have confirmed there would also be a Trail Grapper in this size too, 38.
I'm waiting to see what load rating they are. I was waiting several weeks for them to give details on the Ridge Grappler before buying tires only to have to turn down the idea because they were C rating. Had they been D I would have gone with those. I'm not going to sit around for another several weeks/months to see what the Trail Grappler rating is. I went ahead with Toyos and will have to consider them on my next tire swap.I would buy those! Doubt it goes up that much. Toyo, sister co, makes 13.5 in 37 and 40 in a 17 and the weight only goes up 10lbs. And as you get further and further from the rim you add more and more weight per inch.Considering the 37 12.5 17 nitros weigh 84lbs those 38's are probably closer to 90lbs, way to heavy for my likes. I'd rather run a Milestar or MasterCraft.
Weird that the 37's would be E rated, but 38's are C.They are C rated.

Stock is currently available for the Nitto's.Im going to the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 38x12.5x17 soon! I have x comp 37's now, but my current 37's are 13.5" wide and weigh 4 lbs MORE than the Nitto 38's weigh!
FYI, I do NOT have alot of offroad experience/offroad tire experience but no complaints with the x comps, I just like the taller, thinner look of the Nitto.
