I waited a long time (4.5 months) to get my method wheels and 39s. When they came in the price I paid for the wheels $900 and tires $1400 was $700 less than they charged someone for the exact same setup that came in to order something else but changed his mind upon seeing mine

Cargo containers are up to $26k and will only go to certain ports. Some plastics are up 200-300%. Steel is up 150%. Aluminum is up 100% over June of last year.

what @Ksagaser said. Steel in particular is now essentially in a duopoly between two companies in the US. Wonder how much of those companies the FED bought to "stabilize markets"? One of the reasons I went ahead & bought a good deal on the lot vs. ordering, waiting & getting hit w/ a market adjustment or other such BS I wouldn't put past many dealers I talked to.

Anyway, back to OP, even here in Australia hard asset 'stuff' prices are up so I'm converting cash to 'stuff' now rather than later.
