Got my BedRug Tailgate Mat installed today along with a tailgate seal. However, there’s still a small gap in the corner that I can see light through when the tailgate is closed. The tailgate is rounded in the corners and so it doesn’t close flush with the sidewall and floor. I’ll have to figure that out later.

Also, finished painting my key hole covers and installed them.

Then installed these door pin guides. Makes it easier to get the pins back in the hinge when reinstalling. Very happy about these.

Which tailgate seal did you decide on?
Does it clear the bedrug tailgate piece, or go against it? (Clears it, I assume?)

I have considered using the same epoxy paint on my JT silver parts that I used on my SX4 door locks. They've held up well for over a year and I even have to use the key on these as the remote system I installed - the control unit is bad.
I figured everything about the car was "Sport" or blacked out, why not the locks, too.......... and with the JT door handles being black, silver locks seems a bit of a mis-match.

This is one reason I want a seal - and in the summer, it's dust -

Got my dash cam installed. For anyone looking to do it I asked for advice in another thread and based on that I ended up buying this cam: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SRQH4R7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

And then I watched this video to show how things come off so I could hide the wires:

The USB cord that comes with the camera was long enough that I ran it all the way behind the glove box and down the console into the 2nd USB port inside the center console. The only wire that can be seen is it coming up through the hole on the passenger side of the console. That wire is hidden by the seat belt connecter.

Looking for a good bed cover and rack system combo. Any suggestions?
Added: Door hinge steps, Best top soft top for hard tops, and "GLADIATOR" replacement for "JEEP " on tailgate. And Step rail. So far.

What are you trying to accomplish with your cover/rack?
I have a bak revolver and fit Yakima bars in the side rails.. I think if I had to do it over again, I’d get a retractable cover and the same Yakima (or whatever rail system) on the sides so it’s no big deal to open the cover when you have a rack on.

obviously a RSI smart cap or something is more useful and can have rails as well, but I didn’t prefer the bed cap look.

Yesterday was a long day for projects I’ve been waiting to do…
-started by draining diffs and potting the locker sensors, thanks @chevymitchell
-put in the front half of an AEV 2” spacer lift
-Put on Rancho front diff cover and skid plate
-AEV rear diff cover. Thinking of going with Next Venture for a skid..

To Do:
-check myself in to the hospital, I feel like I did an Ironman!
-finish the rear lift so I’m not doing a Carolina Squat
-slip the Rock Krawler front track bar in and wrestle the jam nut. I don’t have a vice?
-Rusty’s track bar brace
-Rock Hard control arm skids (already have Rusty’s frame LCA skids on)
-Quadratec aluminum engine and transfer case skid

oh, and at some point install an amp to try to salvage my audio system. I tried upgrading speakers and it doesn’t sound right. Should’ve just left it stock

It’s just a little cheap one that came with my Gator tonneau cover, but it does clear the tailgate mat without issue. The only problem I had was that little gap in the corner that I mentioned. It’s been sitting in my garage for months, but the trail dust in the bed was driving me crazy. Also, I moved to southwest Florida 5 years ago from the Midwest. No more of that cold white crap in your picture for me!

Love the Kenda Klever RTs but they sure do like to hold rocks and then throw them at Jeep when I'm back on tar.. Installed some Rokblokz to reduce the chance of dinging the side of Jeep

Got the white knuckle off road passenger side rock slider installed. Waiting on package from John at White Knuckle to finish drivers side. Once all complete I'll make a post and share some issues I had. I choose to paint the full dimple top plate. May end up painting it black. Seems like a bit to much red in jeep now.

This took a good part of the day. Washed, clayed, and ceramic coated.

Probably not the most butch thing to do your Gladiator but hopefully it makes my life easier after some camping trips this fall and should help keep all the plastic from fading.

I didn't bother with the wheels, bumpers, sliders, etc. It's a Jeep.

Ignore my dirty garage

The part itself - It takes 30 seconds to unbox, about 1 to 2 minutes to assemble, and if you choose to remove the nut on the firewall to install it, about 2 minutes to do that. If you dig through a collection of metric fasteners, add 2 more minutes. So the part itself - about 5 or 6 minutes. If you struggle because of lack of instructions, go back to where you bought it and look at the pictures.
(there, is that better?)

I guess you missed that my commentary was more about the other guy not being able to figure out something so simple and my musing about how I can't see why they have so many followers if they can't figure out a simple 3 piece part. Most of my other post was about the other party's review and installation instructions. Reviewing the reviewers.
I didn't miss it...I completely understood that somebody of your intelligence and knowledge and experience who's worked on cars your entire life and showed cars at cars shows and has an encyclopedic knowledge of everything couldn't possibly imagine that someone who doesn't have all of those things might not understand something. It was just a shitty post making fun of someone else and it bothered me.
