Wonder if this will make its way over to the Gladiator side of the house? Supposedly this is a 2022 model being teased by Jeep directly. At 4fest.
It would be awesome if they offered 37's on the JT with this package.

The logistics of this is what I am trying to wrap my head around.

How long can a manufacturer continue to produce current model year vehicles before needing to flip to the next year and having an acceptable number of current model years come January? Then throw the fact that the 'vid has thrown a big wrench in things...

Chevy did it to the Camaro in 69

Head unit looks large

Customers can order the Xtreme Recon Package on the Jeep Wrangler Willys 3.6L eTorque starting in October. Production at the Toledo (Ohio) Assembly Plant will start in December.
Good stuff to unpack here. No imminent refresh of interior anything, other than maybe a change to the head unit? But that's too hard to tell. But we at least have some indication that 2022 opens in October for the JL, so that's fantastic news! Also seems like Sarge might stick around for us for MY22, which is good to know.

Donlen says 10/6 for initial order acceptance. Hardly been reliable, but it finally checks out with some other source.

Gives us a bookend for finally hearing anything. A week left in September as of today, and orders potentially open in two weeks.

I don't have a current production dash to hand for comparison, but if it is actually bigger, that would elevate the UConnect5 to a more certain level.

Might be a continuation of Sarge. Could also be more than (sarge).

Eh IDK, that Uconnect looks pretty much like 8.4 unit from what my googling tells me. Doesn't confirm an upgrade didn't happen, or that a bigger one doesn't exist, but I don't think this is it.

So sadly, today I put my deposit down and received my bill of sale with my dealership to order a MY21 Gladiator, only to receive an email that "we may be too late" because they couldn't see the 2021 Gladiator available to order. I've never gone from so excited, to so nauseated, so quickly. I just hope discounts and pricing stay the same for the MY22, and hydro is still available, as this has been a long time coming for me, and will be sorely disappointed if otherwise. I'll be keeping a very close eye on this thread!
Well this is interesting, from another thread. @BlueGlady, that feeling you describe is exactly how I felt when I thought MY22 was dropping this week and we got a friggin (RED) Compass instead. Ugh. Hoping Blue stays for you, and we all get model year 22!

I’m a little worried now. I don’t care for the UC5, colors, 4xe or a V8 but if they come out with the xtreme recon package I’m not sure what I’m going to do.
