it’s not spinning it’s just not budging on the top. I’m putting everything into it and it won’t move
You need a breaker bar. I use a piece of metal fence pipe that slides over the end of my wrench/ratchet.

I beat the end of it with a 5lbs hammer to flatten it from a circle to an oval so it could fit over a box end wrench.

I’ll try that. I’m not sure why everyone has a key spot and I don’t.

This is the perfect excuse to buy yourself a mid torque cordless impact wrench. They have the "snap" enough to spin the nut off, even on the bottom where you have the provision for the allen, without having to hold it.

WD 40 or PJ Blaster, coat the threads and let them soak.

If you don't have a breaker bar, use 2 combination wrenches. Put the correct size box end on nut, situate the other box end on the open end of the first wrench, this will extend the wrench and give you more leverage.

I suggest some PB blaster penetrating oil and large long 1/2" drive flex head ratchet and deep 18MM socket. That nut is self locking and is gonna take more leverage than a wrench can provide

When in doubt try a BFH. It's amazing how much a strike or impact will loosen a nut or bolt.

WD(water displacement) 40 is a solvent and may help with corrosion and water removal. Wurth Rostof is the best ever for me with PbBlaster a close second. Marvel Mystery Oil has a peppermint scent for a reason. If you are frugal, mix some ATF and peppermint oil and apply drops with a wooden skewer pointy end. Lefty loosey, righty tightey.
