I've searched and have not found information on fitting a 15 inch wheel on a Gladiator. I suspect this is because they won't fit, but figured I would ask the experts.

Is there a 15 inch wheel that will fit on the Gladiator Rubicon?

My hope is to go with a 15 inch wheel and a 35 inch tire.

Might not clear the brake calipers, and also why 15" on a 35 tire, even 16" would be better perhaps.

Wrangler JK had 16" wheels standard on the base Sport. With JL (and Gladiator) the base combination was now 17". This probably means 16" would even be unlikely without very specific wheels, let alone 15".

I can't speak definitively but I know that with the 17" AEV Pintler wheels you need to use low profile wheel weights or they will hit the caliper.

So while there is a small chance the right 16" wheel will fit (Steel is the most likely to fit, since steel has thinner wall thickness the inner diameter of the wheel is probably larger) its a pretty safe bet the 15s won't clear the caliper.

Clearing the brakes was/is the concern. I just like the look of a tall sidewall.

17" wheel is the smallest wheel that will fit the JT in it's stock configuration.
I'm sure if someone wanted to severely modify the braking system and put smaller calipers and rotors on it could be done.

Why a 15?
More sidewall less likely to damage the rim on rocks.

A set of 35x12.50x15 Tires and rim set used to be about $800 cheaper than equivalent 17” set. Idk if it’s still like that.

I think the 15 would look absurdly tiny on the truck if you manage to find one that works. More sidewall yes but a really funny looking wheel. This isn't a TJ.

That sounds like a lot of work, lol. As others have mentioned, I may head down the path of 37's and a lift.

you're talking a 1 inch sidewall difference between 35s on 17s vs 35s on 15s or 37s on 17s.

Before you go nuts modifying brakes to be smaller or throwing a lift on just to fit 37s, think about whether you really need 10 inches of sidewall THAT much. For most people, 9 inches is more than enough.
