I had it on my wife's JL. I just retorqued them myself, super easy and solved the issue.

I have more of a light clunk, what feels like near my driver side axle. Almost, as if something is engaging down there. I only hear when I first start the vehicle and hit about 7-10mph. Anyone else have this noise?

I have that same light clunk and the clicking noise too. I’ve had the vehicle for 5 months now and it’s got 7,000 miles.

The clunk is definitely something to do with 4-hi, as it happens at 7mph, which is the allowed minimum speed to engage 4-hi

My manual JT does this after I’ve been sitting for a period Time, and almost always first thing in the morning releasing the clutch in first gear at about 5mph… thump!

Does anyone happen to know what the torque value is? I plan to knock this out this weekend to get rid of my clicking.

By chance does anyone have a recording of what the “click” sounds like? I’d like to find out if what I’m hearing is the same.

I do occasionally hear a clicking noise
when I’m turning the Gladiator at low speeds. But it never really seemed like an issue - it never impaired performance.

this tsb is what fixed mine.

Torque lower to 15 ft.lb to set taper
Top ball joint: 52-59 ft. Lbs.
Retorque Bottoms ball joint: 30-37 ft. Lbs. and then advance the nut slot to line up with the cotter pin hole.

Have to? Maybe not. But if they don't find/do anything, why not take 10 minutes to do it?

I keep seeing people state this whole "for a $50k vehicle _____" and I think that is ridiculous. Every single manufacturer forum you will see people doing things themselves for a $25k vehicle to an $80k vehicle due to their dealership not doing something/being incompetent. Take things in stride and if it is less of a headache to do yourself, do it. Then find a different dealership.
Peace of mind…
