I got an email from Renee. She told me that she had also gotten notification that it had shipped. She seemed to suggest that it might just take a couple of days. Fingers crossed.

I asked about affiliate discount through TL. If we figure that I need to wait 30 days and that the jeep must be picked up within 14 days of arrival, it leaves me with a couple of choices.

1) join TL and pay my $100. Then cross my fingers the truck doesn't get to Gupton anytime soon since i'm going to ba away for some time over Christmas. Wait a bit then pick it up in January after the 30 days is up.

2) If it arrives soon and I have to wait, I can do all the paperwork through docusign to "buy" the jeep before I ever see it. I don't like this because I have had new cars arrive with defects that I was unwilling to accept.

3) Suck it up and pay the extra $480 and get it when I want.

I chose option 3.

While getting the TL discount would be great, is not worth rearranging my schedule around the holidays with my family.

So now I'm back to fingers crossed it is delivered by Friday which would hopefully allow me to pick it up next week.

I personally think Jeep is kicking ass right now at getting these to us as soon as they can. Jeep.com doesn't even have MY22 up yet and there are guys driving MY22s already less than 8 weeks after ordering. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
I mean you're not wrong, but it's also not like there was some massive amount of retooling that needed to be done. They just shuffled some trim and options around.

We're all impatient, but I agree 100%. My daily driver is a Volvo XC90. When I ordered that, there were no COVID chip shortages or supply issues, and I didn't order over model-year transition and it took 3+ months to get to me. To be fair, it had to come on a massive cargo ship from Sweden, but still...

Yeah so my perspective is juxtaposed with my Ford experience. I drive a 2021 Ranger that I bought off the lot but those are taking months to arrive to people and in the case of the horrid rollout of the bronco, years for some people to get those.

I agree as well they are doing good at turning these around. But would you not be frustrated knowing you ordered the first day orders opened, your build was finished the week of thanksgiving, and others who ordered in November and built later are already receiving theirs? Yeah you’d prob be a lil annoyed. Am I jealous? Hell yeah I am. But happy that people are getting theirs. But it’s annoying at the same time that it’s just sitting in a lot waiting to go.

New guy on the block! Ordered Sport S Diesel back on 10/26. Here is what dealers see when you call for updates. Mine was moved to Nitro Creek and waiting for a truck ride back on the 7th. Latest update is the 16th thru 20th. Hopefully a driver will pick an easy 8 hour drive and bring a load East to the Washington

For those who ordered from Kent @ Petersons in ID, I asked him about the FCA affiliate discount being back and this was his response today:

"We'll have to take a look at the applicable discounts. FCA / Jeep has removed affiliate discounts."

Also, I'm in JS (since 12/10) with no ETA.

"Jeep is reporting your Gladiator is finished and awaiting to be loaded onto a train for transport. showing (ETA TBD)."
Thanks for the heads up. It sounds like it's available again now, but that could change next month. Hopefully if not he'll still do invoice minus 1% for FCA financing. I got an email from him Monday that I'm in storage with TBD ETA also.

To be fair, I ordered a bare bones sport s on 10/13 and it's sitting at the factory waiting to ship as of last week. I'm not too itchy yet. But I get why people are very antsy. I've ordered custom made items like knives and guns that have taken 6 months to get so an entire truck in 3 months? I can be patient with that lol.

So mine has been in storage awaiting shipment for two weeks now going to Central NY. Anyone else stuck in this limbo?
Me. I hit shipped status December 1st and as of this Monday it's still sitting at the factory shipping lot waiting for a ride on the bus with the cool kids down to Gupton.

Anyone else on the Gupton short bus planning on flying in? One-way, early January flights in to Nashville are super cheap right now.

Yes, I am. Was looking at flights today, and saw them for about $57 after the first of the year. They are about double that from now through the 1st.

Well, to be honest, I didn't expect my Gladiator until January when I ordered in October. I was good with that. Then, it was built and my anticipation heightened. Then it was shipped to Canada and sat on a lot waiting shipment from what my dealer told me. I could deal with waiting to be produced but once it was built, my impatience started getting the best of me. My dealer told me yesterday evening that it is supposed to be at the local rail yard on 12/23, which is great news. I just need to settle down. I have never done the custom order thing and I have never bought a vehicle that was exactly what I wanted so the wait is getting tough.

I know it's still earlier than my original expectation but frustrating to watch it sit somewhere once built. I do think Jeep is doing an awesome job getting them built so quickly. I guess it's just my nature to get impatient now that I know that Firecracker Red beast is built and just waiting to get to me.

The little guy has your name on it too! All alone, out there in the Canadian wilderness...
