what looks sketchy? Looks like a prretty normal recall to me. Sounds like they have just found a software defect in the code that was loaded onto a certain batch of PCMs and it will require a quick reflash at the dealer.Hmm. looks sketchy to say the least.
I received mine yesterday. Although (knock on wood) I have not had any issues.Found this letter interesting. Seems the computer wasn't reporting on a problem that several gladiators dealt with.
Mine does the same when warming up. After that it's golden.Obviously this could be and probably is exactly what it says. An error in detecting misfire. On the other hand, when you consider some of the early misfire gremlins, it's not shocking that some will see this recall and wonder. My Gladiator has been pretty solid although it does occasionally have a rough idle where it feels like it might cut out. That could just be normal. It's just guesswork unless after the update people start throwing codes. My original post was wondering if this could be related to or a partial cause of the early issues and if anyone had more info.

If you have the superchips tuner does it have to be disabled, and returned to stock setting before this update?Found this letter interesting. Seems the computer wasn't reporting on a problem that several gladiators dealt with.
