I think he hit too close to home for some of the folks with his opening.
So many tacti-cool jeepers out there. hahaha...
I fast forwarded through most of it. Overall, not very funny, but also not offensive enough to get wadded up. First world problems! hahaha

Some thin skin JT owners in here.

Most of what I do when. Driving alone is pretend to win arguments.

Come on y’all….just because he’s living his best life…in his moms basement, attempting to set the world on fire by doing top notch YouTube vehicle reviews on vehicles he currently doesn’t own…does not give anyone the right to judge. He is the king of his own world and that is all that matters!???

BTW…we ALL totally bought our Gladiator’s to offset the size of our small penises and what not’s.

A lot of those made me laugh because they’re so stupid. Only take two things seriously folks 1) lunch 2) payday.

I listened to all of it... Honestly, I figured there were going to be some things the reviewer absolutely did not like for whatever reason. Instead, it was a incongruous diatribe of generalizations, dick measuring contest jabs, and idiocy -- the likes I have never seen.

Whatever. Just another drive-by "journalist" hack-job. Whichever dealer loaned him the vehicle -- hopefully last time that shit happens.

RCR has never done a serious review of any car they had. It is satire like "The Onion" or "Babylon Bee".

Anybody that has followed RCR for any length of time watches their videos for the satire entertainment value. Anybody that takes their video on face value of any seriousness, they laugh at that.

99% of the vehicles they have reviewed to include this Gladiator, were owned by viewers or personal friends of the channel. They do not go on dealers lots looking for vehicles to review. In fact, they have pretty good backlog of viewers wanting to submit their vehicles to be roasted.

Lastly, the two people that run RCR met in college years back and are self proclaimed social outliers in High School and College that they were not part of the "in crowd" in either setting and both discovered that they have a dark and somewhat childish humor that they let out in their RCR reviews.

One either gets what they are doing or does not. They do not care if one falls into the latter.

His most salient point is around halfway through. He does hit the common threads of worse highway manners than the competition. Small bed. Long wheelbase Jeep. Cost. But he does point out that it doesn't need to be all the things it's not. It's it's own unique thing and for those who buy one, that's probably exactly what they wanted it to be.
Worse highway manners? He must have gotten one with a bad steering gear. I've had mine up over 95 and never once felt unsafe or unstable with it. I've out-raced two big storms passing everything in sight, been in between semis, towed, whatever. It's fine on the highway. The only difference I noted was that being less wide than my other trucks, you can feel that when making certain maneuvers, especially when towing, but I wonder if he got a real lemon. Mine has no leaks, no squeaks, nothing is bad about the panel fitment or seals, the freedom panels don't move and don't make noise and it goes straight down the road. Again, less wide and with flat sides, more prone to feeling the wind, but I had to wonder if he took the JT that some dealer was sending back as they took it back as a total lemon.

Nothing about it "hit home" for me as I'm not a typical Jeep buyer. (if there is such a thing, and from the forum, I'm guessing there is). Nothing he said hit me personally because none of it applied. It was his constant dick comparing (making me ask why he keeps going back to that?) Mine is a truck without any of the issues he tried to squeeze in between his supposed humor.
So no snowflake here as he wasn't talking to me as a buyer of off-road vehicles. I buy for Iowa weather and towing and hauling. And in that regard, he got a lemon to review.

So I gotta ask - does anyone REALLY have panels that move and rub and make noise? I saw that and thought - really? I've never heard anyone talk of that - or was it that he doesn't have such a thing either and was just trying to point out a likely problem?
Was it maybe he was just pointing to things he didn't like and was trying to say "this is going to be a major deal"?

It is satire like "The Onion" or "Babylon Bee".
If that's the deal he needs to slow down and learn how to do real satire. Your two examples are normally pretty good. But this guy was like on Adderall triple dose with 10 cups of coffee and puts the most hyperactive kid to shame like they are sleeping.
If he slowed down and didn't get so shrill he could maybe have something. But leave out trying to make himself feel better with the dick comparisons.

I have to admit - there were a couple of spots I could see his parody of some people with Jeeps that lift and toss on 40" tires, angry grills and go for the "look at me" thing.
Maybe part of the reason I didn't "get" half of it was I had no idea what he was talking about because I don't relate to that sort of buyer? Mine is a truck, I haul stuff, I use it like I did my other trucks, it's mostly stock, tires the same diameter as stock, stock wheels, only 1" higher than stock (that wasn't totally intentional but I like it personally) so I had trouble figuring out - what the heck is he talking about?

This is classic you either get them or do not. They really do not care and their YT channel grows a steady 1K-2K new subscribers a week.

If until this Gladiator video was made and you had not run across them by now, then one was never in their orbit to be a regular viewer let alone a subscriber.

I like most of RCR stuff. This was funny. He pokes at the owners and the auto. This one was inline with most his reviews.
