Jeep Gladiator ‘21 Diesel w/ Mopar 2” lift. Bad Front Rake. 26D40655-4580-4EB6-BBC9-9EA33DD8D0D7

I‘m sure it’s here in the forums “somewhere”, but… 2021 w/ diesel, mopar 2” lift on 37x12.5x17. The front rake drives me crazy every time I see it. Recommendations to bring it up some with having to change out anything major? Thank you In advance.

Measure to under the door seam behind front tire and in front of rear and see how much rake you have. I would order the teraflex 1.5” spacer lift and decide if you want to use the 1” puck or both for the 1.5”. That would be easiest way to get rid of the rake.

This. Don't measure off the fenders.

Use the body pinch weld like this post says.

Did you get the right kit. There is 2. One for gas and for diesel.

Yes sir, I double checked part numbers when I picked it up from dealer. I had read stories of dealers putting on gas lifts on the diesels so I double checked out the gate.

Mine is a gasser but with the mopar lift kit mine had a decent amount of rake especially with front bumper and winch. I added a 3/4” spacer to mine but have thought about adding more.

If the stink bug look really bugs you there are three fixes with the Mopar Lift. This applies only to non Rubicon models. The Rubicon looks good out of the box with the Mopar lift kit.

1. Lower the back. On the rear axle use the stock springs with an 1 3/8 spacer.
2. Add 1 1/2 spacers to the front. This is in addition to the Mopar lift springs.
3. Install a pair of Rubicon front fenders,

My preference is the Rubicon fenders.

Had good luck with the Teraflex pucks in the past. Good quality and the ability to go .5"/1"/1.5" depending on the puck configuration is a nice benefit..... I actually like the rake personally :)

Mopar lift with 1.5” tereflex pucks. I had .5” puck in initially but added a bumper and winch then I had to put the other puck in.

I installed the Mopar lift and added the 1" Terraflex spacer to my JTRD, mainly to account for the added weight of my bumper and winch. It sits almost perfectly level. An associate of mine has the Sport S with bumper and winch, he ended up using the 1.5" (both spacers). I enjoy this lift, and after 3 months, I added the geometry correction brackets to mine. Huge difference in steering feel, firm steering, bumps are less jarring and tracks nice & straight. Overall very pleased.

So, even with the longer arms of the Mopar lift, you still needed to add geo brackets?

Front spacer as others have mentioned, as for the relo brackets I recently installed them and while the steering, wandering and better composure over bumps wasn’t noticeable enough to justify me doing it again all over, the drastically reduced nose diving when braking alone was. Hard braking was an event where all senses (at least for me) were summoned to mitigate any squirreliness. Post brackets, the whole front ever so slightly dips vs. an absurd nose dive like before.

Nice rig!!!!!

It's not required necessarily, it's more of a preference. It just adds Caster which reduces bump steer, putting the jounce into the suspension rather than creating feedback into the cab and steering wheel. The additional Caster appears to make it track straighter & it seems that my Gladiator requires less steering input to drive than it did back when it was stock.
