I installed the Dodge Dart Kicker speaker upgrade. Pretty noticeable improvement. Then I installed some Builtright Molle panels in the bed in hopes that the Powertank I ordered on Thanksgiving will actually show up this week. No pictures because I’m battling Covid right now and by the time I was done with that I could barely make it to my lazy boy where I spent the rest of the day in and out of consciousness.

How did you get that machined aluminum square to mount? I ordered one a year ago and have never been able to install it. The rubber nutserts are too big and I had no way to hold them in place on the other side. I gave up, didn't want to drill just to put a cover to replace the plastic cover.

If there's an easy/good way to do it my $40 won't be wasted!
It's just a 4 in x 4.5 in piece of aluminum that I drilled out to match the bolt pattern on the can mount as well as the one on the MOLLE panel. I actually bought a 4 foot long piece of 4 in wide 1/8 inch aluminum stock a while ago and have used it for several different mounts. I probably have enough for another square that size, if you want it DM me and I'll cut it to size and send it your way.

Sounds like a good plan. If you want oem wheels a lot of people like the Willys and Overland wheels. They are +44mm offset though, but with 35s, you might get some poke. I went with bronze fuel unit d785s myself and sold my black Willys wheels. My fuels are +1mm. I kept the stocks 32” BFGs and they look good with a little poke. Something else to consider anyway. Some like a little poke, some don’t. A lot of guys will add rockblockz/mopar/weathertech mud flaps. I haven’t had too much issue with throwing rocks so I haven’t added those yet. There are unlimited combinations and it can be hard to chose. Best of luck!

Having takeoff rims installed today and...asap...installing mud flaps. My wife was following me to the shop to drop off the JT and i flung a rock that cracked her windshield.
Soooooo SNAFU

Service tech called and ask if I wanted a couple of additional services done due to mileage. One of which is a service on the 4x4 system.

then I get a call from the tech who says that when they pulled the rear dif drain plug it had a “big chunk of metal” and they think “something exploded”

whats funny is it drives great so ny signs of malfunction. Hopefully that leads to it being a simpler fix.

sooooo they’re dropping the rear dif to explore some. VERY glad i have both a drive train and extended warranty, as well as stock sized tires on it so they can’t make a stink and pass the cost on to me.

well see what they say but fingers crossed its nothing crucial.

How do you like that lift setup? I am debating on which route to go and this is one of the setups I have looked at. Have you had any other Jeeps with a lift to compare it to? I have a JKU that I bought used with an unknown sized Rock Krawler lift already installed with Bilstein shocks. I think it is about a 3- 3.5 inch lift though, which I think is a good size for my use.

I’m happy with the lift setup. It’s still fairly new for me to really comment. However, the dealer picked up my truck for warranty service on the back window. He stated the truck drove just like his stock Mojave, which is amazing considering the 37s.
