$2095 for bumper to bumper up to 70k miles or 5 years. $100 deductible.
I extended my warranty to 5 years, 75k miles, for half that, albeit my deductible is $200.
Talk to this guy:

I went ahead and bought a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. Mainly because of all the electronics and the diesel. I can't work on these things like I used too; way too complicated. The girl at the dealer said that they were told that the rates were going up soon also, so repairs will cost even more. Think she said $100 an hour.

Since I do like to keep vehicles 10 + years I get them. Each one has paid for itself in electronics alone, much less mechanical. But you do need to get as long a term/miles/coverage. Basic warranties rarely cover things that actually break much.

Take away the factory 3/36 and you end up with a 2/34 warranty for $2k. If that is worth it to you, go for it.

Doesn't the Mopar warranty start from the in service date? As in if your vehicle is 2 years old you only have 3 years left on a 5 year extended warranty.
The Fidelity plan from JMA Group actually starts from when you buy it.

I got my Max Care 6 year/100,000 mile warranty with $200 deductible from Tom Winkels for $1210. Like it or not, Jeeps tend to have their fair share of issue so I believe it’s money well spent. R

Bingo. It's all about risk tolerance.

I'd rather keep that $2K invested in the market, and when/if I need repairs I'll just pay out of pocket. Over the long run this will work out better financially, but you have to be willing to tolerate that risk yourself. Some people would just rather pay the premium to avoid such risks.

My 2013 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk had to have the front diff replaced right after the extended warranty was up. That was $3,400 out off pocket. Go figure.

Every vehicle I have bought needed that extended service contract. I bought the 6 year 12500 mil contract. $100 deductible. Max care from Tom. I would have rather spent the money and not needed it. Than have a $2600 what ever bilI than to cover the cost. My turbo went out our TDI 2000 miles before the warranty was up. Warranty paid for it self

I got the extended warranty on my 21 JTRD. First time in my life I've bought the extended warranty on anything, and I don't regret it one bit.

7yr 125k Miles for $1700. It was a no brainer for me. Had the same one on my Ram and they ended up replacing all lifters and cam. So $1800 for a $4000 repair.

Another Tom customer. So easy to deal with. Max Care 7 year 75K mile $1345 ($100 ded). I had to pay more because I was over 12K miles when I finally was able to get it.

I'm only at 9 months owning my JT and already 25K miles so I will be out of the factory warranty within 18 months.

I did have another companies extended warranty on my '18 JL through the dealership I bought it from. Paid for my faulty radiator (~$900 repair). When I totaled the Wrangler I was reimbursed a pro-rated amount.

Never been an extended warranty guy but honestly with as expensive as these things are now and the poor(-ish) quality, it's peace of mind as much as anything. If you have the money, do it.
