Same, needed the max tow for my camper and don’t want to change anything that will mess with that. With that said, I did read that going 285 70 on stock wheels wouldn’t change much….so that’s what I did.

Sadly, it’s probably all I can do.

I understand if a dealer puts his name on a plate frame or something like that, but it always bothered me when they stick a cheap plastic logo or sticker on a new Paint job. That is going to be a blast with the top off.

I think stock looks good in a variety of trims, except the ones w/out a rock rail or step. The exposed sides look awful to me.

I get the idea of wanting to build the JT up and thinking it looks bad stock.

I think some stock can still look pretty good. Here's my 22 with the black wheel upgrade. I've driven 2 door Wranglers for 15 years - and decided I had enough of the big wheel beatdown.

Stock Mojave’s or Rubicons look fine. I hated and still loved my stock Sport Max Tow but going into the purchase, I knew mods were going on very soon. I don’t knock on stock Gladiators because not everyone wants to mod theirs.

From when I first got it to now. Changed a lot of parts!

I think the Mojaves look fantastic stock. They should probably come stock with 35s, but other than that, I think they're the best looking stock JT.

YES. I had Rubi take-off rails on my sport within 20 minutes of bringing it home.

That picture looks a lot like mine taken from German NATO bases back in the 80’s. Is that what I’m looking at? A picture of your wife taken from your Army post back in the 80’s?
