Installed oem brake controller

Everything seems to be good except the push button is 90 degrees off. It only indexes one way to allow it to push and spring back and I can’t figure out why it’s off. Dial is installed correctly. The little light tab on the the plug in is at the top. Anyone know why this may be? I tried to reindex the push button itself but it’s also built to go together one way only.

That's so if you accidentally roll your Jeep onto it's left side, then the orientation of the graphics will be in the correct up right orientation

Exactly how I installed mine except if the button is installed “clocked” correctly it doesn’t push in and out. Tabs and light are all correctly clicked. It’s weird.

no, the button will go in any way. just pull it out and re insert correctly i seen people do this before because it will go in any way but only work if its installed correct

Correct. It can be inserted any of 4 directions, but it will only function as a push button in one exact location. Which in my case is 90 degrees off. If I insert it so it looks correct, there is no push button function.

wow that is super strange. i wonder if you just got a button that was simply printed wrong. i guess yours in one of a kind! lol
