OEM Brake Controller on 2021 Gladiator

Dealership installed OEM brake controller on my 2021 Gladiator to operate my 2021 Nucamp T@g camper with electric brakes. Once controller was installed I noticed the brake lights on the truck would stay on for 20 mins or more after shutting off truck before brake lights went off. Could not find timer involvement.
Dealership installed a second new controller with the same results.
When they unhooked the controllers the brake lights go off as they should.
Factory has no answers at this point. Help?

I have the Mopar brake controller installed and have had no problems. If your truck was prewired with the factory brake controller harness (tow package) it would be pretty hard to mess up the wiring and installation. If your Gladiator did not have the brake controller prewiring then this could be another story. In any case the tail lights should not remain on after turning the car off. Just checked mine and they do not remain on after car is shut down.
