You can order anytime, as long as you’ve got a control number by the time you sign for your vehicle.
You can get a control number 30 days after joining Tread Lightly.

So I picked up my quotes today from the dealership. With the Tread Lightly Discount it still seems a Rubicon is outside of my price range by a couple hundred a month for 84 months........unless I remove a lot of the optional stuff I wanted. So I had them do a Sport S Max Tow which was my second choice. They said the LED Light upgrade was currently not available, and neither are any sort of leather seat option. There was no option for the 17" Gloss Black Wheels either. Just about $10k cheaper for the Max Tow vs. the Rubicon with the options I selected.. So very depressing.

Put in my deposit for a Gobi Rubi Diesel last night. Waiting for official word back.

Timing is not great, but I've been telling myself since I first laid eyes on the Gobi color years ago that I was going to wait for a Gobi diesel...

Just sent an email to Daniel at Gupton to see if we can change my white Willys to Gobi. Daniel has had my build sheet for about two weeks while my wife and two kids fought about colors.

I saw Gobi lighting up this forum yesterday and sent gobi pics to the kids. They are both in on Gobi with a tan interior "100%". Wife is not. Oh well.

Waiting to hear back from Daniel (and pulled the Tread Lightly membership trigger last night). Lets do this!

My lease is ending soon on my Punk'n, I'm considering getting a Gobi Mojave. Gobi was my second choice behind Punk'n, I'm curious if anyone knows how long Gobi will be available? I want to stay with a unique color but I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger yet.

If it's anything like the Wranglers, jeep is saying it's on until June

You don't need Tread Lightly to order. Kent had me sign up for it as soon as the order is in. You just need the membership to be active for 30 days before you sign the final paperwork.

Nice, I was considering the diesel but I know I won't drive it how a diesel needs to be driven. But I'm the same with the color, timing was pretty good for me too go with it.
