I love the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws.
We have them on 2 different vehicles.

They do come in a 315 70 17

I run all weather Nokian Rotiiva AT 315/70/17 for the past two years. Great Tire and very capable in the ice/ snow. Coming off two recent snow storms in Upsate NY, no issues.

Duratracs can be studded. 35x12.5R17
They are 3pmsf rated. But if studded, does that rating even matter?

Studded tires are only beneficial for a narrow range of driving conditions.
Good winter tires, driven reasonably, are better all around. Especially on a Jeep.

I swapped the OEM BFG KM2’s for Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s after first snowfall in ND back in November and they have been OUTSTANDING .

Lived and driven front/rear/AWD/4WD in snow my whole life, and other than Continental ExtremeConti DWS tires on my SUV’s that they fit on, nothing has come close.

Worth. Every. Penny.

I had them on my last truck. I don't think they're as good on road in snow as the WR series, but I preferred the more aggressive appearance of the AT tread. They have now been replaced by the disappointingly easy to pronounce "Outpost" (for those unfamiliar with Nokian, the Rotiiva was preceeded by the Vatiiva)

How are you liking the outpost?

Haven’t tried the Outpost yet, still trying to wear down the Falken M/Ts that are on the wheels I bought. I meant Nokian replaced the Rotiiva line with the Outpost, not me.

I did replace the old Hakkas on the work truck with a new set, but so far we haven’t had any snow

I have the Nokian Outpost on my farm truck, good in snow, not very good on ice.

I have a steep, icy driveway here in North Idaho. There is no replacement for studs (except chains)
After a few days of melt cycles it becomes an ice rink on a 12-15 degree incline.

My studded Kenda Klever 35X10.5R17's easily make it up when iced over, sometimes my wifes Highlander AWD with true winter tires cannot make it up. So to say studs are pointless is incorrect.
If it weren't for studs I'd have to park way out at the road and walk back everyday instead of driving home and parking in my shop.

My Falken AT3W can't make it up either, neither could the Duratracs or Cooper AT3 XLT.
The only non-studded tire I have had that could make it up is the Baja Boss AT, those tires rock and there is something special in the compound it seems.

I put a set of Nokian Hakapalita (sp?) LT3s - unstudded on my truck and am thrilled.

The Falken ATs were excellent, but these are obviously much better. I wouldn't drive in the snow on MTs honestly.

We had some cold temps then a warm up then wet snow. The snow that hit the road turned to ice and we had a lot of difficulty in my town. The High silica rubber actually stuck to the ice pretty well.

I went without studs because based on TireRack testing, studded versions of a given snow tire do worse on snow than non-studded, though they do better on ice. So you pick what you want to favor. For me, it's wet, compressed snow.
