I just picked up a 22 Mojave from Bill Volz Jeep in Westchester County, NY. If you're in the market and looking for a great dealership with excellent customer service be sure check them out. Not sure if this is a normal occurrence but the sales guy left a $2.00 bill for good luck with a nice thank you note attached to the inside of my gas tank lid. Nice touch! Will definitely return when the time comes. This is officially my second Jeep. The first was a 2002 Wrangler that lasted a good 335k miles before handing it over to a relative a couple of years ago.
As for the current truck, I wasn't able to order it as I wanted since these things are flying off the dealerships in my area. And with the pandemic and limited supply chain I opted for what they had on hand. Overall couldn't be happier.
Right now the pic shows a basic setup but I've already ordered a step bar, tonneau cover, and roll bar with light bar.
One note, the truck did not have the aux switch panel installed.. I asked about getting one and was told Jeep did not have one for that model yet. Dealer said I would need to install a separate toggle switch if I was going to do a light bar or winch install. WTF?
I thought the 20-22 Gladiator models were the same. I then went onto the quadratec.com site and found the aux switch kit in stock which also said it would work with the 22 models. This was confirmed by their customer service. so I ordered it.
Has anyone heard differently? or know something I don't?
in any event I will install it and report back.
In the meantime, glad to be a part of this great community.
till then..
